Mueller, Jo
Jo Ann Mueller was born on December 16, 1930 and grew up in California, Colorado, Texas, and Louisiana. She and her husband, Hal Mueller, arrived in Las Vegas, Nevada in 1956 when he accepted a meteorologist position. In addition to raising their two children, Mueller was active in the Parent Teacher Association, worked for Weight Watchers, and was a volunteer with the League of Women Voters.

Janis Riceberg moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1974 while attending Long Beach State University. She worked as a special education teacher for the Clark County School District for twenty years and began teaching at the College of Southern Nevada in 2003.

Early, Helen R., 1919-2008
Helen Early was born September 03, 1919 in Des Moines, Iowa. She moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1948 after marrying her husband and moving with his business in the city. Her career spanned in secretary work, managing shops and theatres, and being an elementary school teacher’s aide. Early passed away October 15, 2008.

The girl holding the ball is identified as Louella Wengert (Ham). In the first row left to right are: Wanda Ball (Moser), Florence Bishop, Louella Wengert (Ham), Gladys Boggs (Marshall), Martha Kramer (her father was a barber). In the second row left to right are: Etta McDonald, Clara Kiernan, Teacher, Rose Coughlin (Ullom) -- her father was a railroad man and Olive Lake (Eglington). Oral history interview with Debra Nutton conducted by David Schwartz on June 15, 2015 for the Table Games Management Oral History Project. In this interview, Nutton discusses her career in gaming. She talks about working at the MGM Grand in 1976, going to dealing school, and becoming one of the first female craps dealers in Las Vegas, Nevada. Nutton remembers auditioning for various casino floors, her teachers, and becoming a floor manager. She then recalls the opening of the MGM Mirage, applying for a pit manager position there, and being hired as the only female pit manager in 1989. Later, Nutton describes the role of casino shift manager, handling issues with customers, and begin a casino manager for twelve years. Lastly, Nutton discusses her move to meeting Steve Wynn and becoming a casino manager for the Wynn.
