The Greg Clemens Photograph Collection contains ten black-and-white contact sheets depicting aerial views of Las Vegas, Nevada in 1965. The contact sheets contain approximately eighty-two images showing views of McCarran International Airport, the Las Vegas Convention Center, downtown Las Vegas, and residential neighborhoods.

The John Nichols Photograph Collection (approximately 1930-1950) is comprised of black-and-white photographic prints depicting the western region of the United States including Southern Nevada, the Hoover Dam (then known as Boulder Dam), Lake Mead, and various desert landscapes. Photographs were collected by former Las Vegas and Boulder City, Nevada resident, John Nichols, who is a longtime art collector and gallery owner based in California. The collection includes some photographs taken by American photographer Glenn Davis who was known for photographing the Las Vegas Valley and the construction of the Hoover Dam.

Oral history interview with Nancy Norris conducted by Elizabeth Schwartz on March 11, 1981 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Norris discusses moving to Las Vegas, Nevada where her husband was working for the railroad company. Norris also discusses nursing and what Las Vegas was like during wartime. Lastly, Norris discusses the growth and development of casinos in the city.

Oral history interview with Liermann L. Ousley conducted by Brian Emil on April 29, 1986 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Ousley discusses his career as a lineman, a type of electrician, in California and Nevada. Ousley also discusses how Las Vegas, Nevada has changed since moving there in 1933 and observing the first nuclear weapons test.

Oral history interview with Steven Parker conducted by Emily Powers on December 19, 2006 for the UNLV @ Fifty Oral History Project. Steven Parker discusses teaching political science at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 1975. He also discusses becoming the Political Science Department chair in 1980 and director of the University Forum Lecture Series.

Oral history interview with Ruth Parvin conducted by Deborah Radice on March 14, 1981 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Parvin discusses moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1955. She later discusses the city when it was a small town and talks about the different communities within Las Vegas.

Oral history interview with David Pearl conducted by Ricardo A. Martinez on March 04, 1976 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Pearl discusses his personal experiences in Las Vegas, Nevada and what attracted him to the city. Pearl also shares stories on the Rebel Club, a fundraising effort at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
