In this interview, Hinds recalls her journey to the United States after marrying a U.S. naval officer stationed in the Philippines. Oral history interview with Rodney Sumpter conducted by Dennis McBride on August 30, 1999 for the Las Vegas Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Archives Oral History Project. In this interview, Sumpter discusses his involvement with repealing one of Nevada’s sodomy laws (NRS 201.190) in 1985. He recalls going to the Nevada State Supreme Court and discusses similar cases involving sodomy laws in the United States.

Oral history interview with Carl Williams conducted by Claytee D. White and Kelli Luchs on April 20, 2010 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. In this interview, Williams discusses attending the Westside School starting in 1949. He recalls the teachers, staff, and describes the buildings as he remembers them. Lastly, Williams discusses activities held at the Westside School, community activities at the time, and his involvement with various churches.

In this interview, Rosenbloom discusses the life of her father, Sam Sarno, and his brother Jay Sarno. She talks about the opening of Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada, her uncle's career in gaming, and recalls his plans to open additional hotels and casinos in Las Vegas.

In this interview Valerie Johnson discusses her career as a trumpet player in the United States Air Force Women's band. Johnson talks about her experiences as a musician, her travels in the military, and the discrimination she and her fellow musicians faced from male military musicians.

Oral history interview with Afton Powers conducted by Stephen Johnson on January 22, 1972 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Powers discusses living in St. Thomas, Nevada before the town was submerged in water after the construction of Hoover Dam (Boulder Dam). She describes the utilities they had, her recreational activities, and how the town prepared for its eventual submersion.
