The University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) Office of Media Relations Records (1969-2003) primarily contain copies of UNLV faculty, staff, and alumni newsletters including Inside Out and Update. Also included in the collection are contact sheets, photographic prints, articles, and other editorial documents used in the creation of the Inside Out newsletter, as well as documents pertaining to various UNLV events, committees, programs, and policies. Additional materials include photographic slides and negatives, magazines, and audiocassettes.

Oral history interview with Esther Langston conducted by Claytee D. White on February 22, 2005 for the UNLV @ 50 Oral History Project. In this interview, Langston provides an overview of her early life and career in social work. She describes how the women in her family are positive and empowering role models. Langston moves on to explain how she become a social worker over a period of many years. She states that a job experience that helped her gain the qualifications of a social worker was working as an office manager at the Nevada Test Site. She also mentions how she has had to work with conflicts such as racial inequalities.

Oral history interview with Steven Kalb conducted by Claytee D. White and Stefani Evans on January 05, 2017 for the Building Las Vegas Oral History Project. In this interview, Kalb discusses his early life in North Hollywood, California. He recalls moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1953, growing up in the Twin Lakes area, and recreational activities he participated in. Kalb talks about attending Arizona State University (ASU), studying construction engineering, and the formation of his father's company, George F. Kalb Construction. Kalb describes the first construction projects the company completed, forming Kalb Construction Company, and working on standalone projects. Lastly, Kalb discusses the future of the construction industry.

Oral history interview with Rick Peppers conducted by Claytee D. White on July 06, 2016 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. In the interview, Peppers describes his childhood in Exira, Iowa and moving to Blue Diamond, Nevada in 1962. He explains working in various positions at the Blue Diamond Mine to ensure employment stability. Peppers shares stories about how the mine company's ownership of Blue Diamond affected the town. After transitioning into security jobs, he explains working through the Teamsters Union at the Aladdin Hotel and Casino, and then working forty-six years at Caesars Palace Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Oral history interview with John W. Crabbe conducted by Patricia van Betten on January 19, 2004 for the Blue Diamond Oral History Project. In the interview, Crabbe discusses moving to Blue Diamond Village in southern Nevada as a child in the 1950s. Crabbe talks about attending Rancho High School in Las Vegas, Nevada and the long bus commute he took daily to school. Crabbe then recalls his experiences horseback riding in Bonnie Springs, Nevada and his employment at Howard Hughes' airline, Hughes Air West. Lastly, Crabbe discusses the civic activities available growing up in the Blue Diamond Village.
