B-roll of Pioneer Hotel and Gambling Hall in Laughlin, Nevada. Boats pass by on the river, camera pans to a man and woman talking and standing by the water. Audio abruptly begins, and a woman is giving the couple direction as the camera rolls. Couple then appear on the beach, and the neon signs are visible as the sun begins to set; couple speak to another infront of Vegas Vic sign, then move to a boat on the river, and then ends with the couple talking inside a Pioneer Hotel room. Original media U-matic S, color, aspect ratio 4 x 3, frame size 720 x 486.

39 x 56 cm. Relief shown by hachures. "Entered according to act of Congress in the year 1864, by A.J. Johnson in the Clerks Office of the United States for the Southern District of New York." Atlas page numbers in upper margin: 67-68. Primer meridians: Greenwich and Washington, D.C. On verso: History and statistical view of the West India islands or Columbian Archipelago and Historical and statistical view of Mexico and Central America. Shows proposed railroads, locations of Indian tribes, natural features, counties, mines, mail routes, trails and routes of exploring expeditions. Has decorative border. Southern part of Nevada was added to the state in 1867 and is part of Nevada on this map, but Lincoln County was established in 1867 and is not on this map. This map was still probably published in 1867 in spite of someone's having written "1864" in pencil in the lower right corner of the Library's copy. Original publisher: A.J. Johnson.

The black and white, aerial view of Howard Hughes' Lockheed 14 aircraft performing its final landing on the Round the World flight at Floyd Bennett Airport, New York. Typed onto a piece of paper attached to the image: "Cars Jam Parking Spaces at Field as Hughes Arrives, New York City: Ann air-view of the thousands of cars at Floyd Bennett Field, July 14th, as welcomers streamed to the field from all directions to take part in the wild ovation accorded Howard Hughes and his gallant crew of four when they landed their great plane on the field 3 days, 19 hours, and 14 minutes after taking off on their flight around the world.
