(1955-1999). The materials are primarily comprised of Harrah’s brand casino, hotel, and resort newsletters, Harrah-scope magazines, and photographs of employees and various Harrah’s properties.

(dating from 1950 to 2004 with the bulk of the materials dating from 1970 to 2000). The materials are primarily comprised of event advertisements; promotional fliers, posters, and pamphlets; promotional photographs of Harrah’s properties; annual reports, property reports, and financial reports; and ephemera from special events and various Harrah’s brand casinos, hotels, and resorts. Also included are photographs, catalogs, advertisements, and video recordings of Harrah’s Automobile Collection.
Records are comprised of project proposals, planning guides, and brochures relating to the construction of the Stan Fulton Building for the William F. Harrah College of Hotel Administration dating from 1996 to 1999. The records contain project proposals for the Stan Fulton Building from three different architectural firms. The brochures advertise the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) International Gaming Institute, which is housed in the Stan Fulton Building.
Oral history interview with Tex Whitson conducted by David G. Schwartz on September 04, 2015 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. In this interview, Whitson discusses how he began playing poker, the growth of poker's popularity, and eventually the development of the World Series of Poker tournament. Whitson then recalls anecdotes of his interactions with Benny Binion, and the significance of the World Series of Poker to Harrah’s Las Vegas Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.
