This was the first resort/casino in Las Vegas. Transcribed from back of postcard: "A fashionable clubhouse located on the desert near Las Vegas, where gay throngs gather nightly to dine, dance and enjoy the romance and freedom of Nevada."

McBride, Dennis
Dennis McBride grew up in Boulder City, Nevada, and received both his BA and MA from UNLV. He is well-known as an expert in the history of Hoover Dam and has done several histories of Boulder City. He has chronicled and collected the history of the LGBTQ community in Las Vegas since the late 1970s, and his work culminated in the manuscript "Life in the Neon Closet: A History of Gay Las Vegas" published in 2017.

Alfred Parkinson and Fred Schoonmaker were a couple who moved to a ghost town in Rhyolite, Nevada and attempted to create a gay residential area called Stonewall Park.

Ron Donoho oral history interview

Abstract
Oral history interview with Ron Donoho conducted by Craig Brenner on February 28, 1978 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Donoho discusses the history of sheriffs in the Clark County Sheriff’s Office and the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. Donoho mentions various sheriffs that were his colleagues and the political dynamics during their leaderships. He also recalls a list of Southern Nevada police officers killed in the line of duty.
