Description

Small home made of boards sits atop a desert hill. At the bottom of the image, "MAR 1962" is typed. Inscription with photo reads "Dwelling of Ansel S. Wysong, one of Clark County's last hermits, lived and died with his 35 dogs. Glendale, Nev. After he died, the Humane Society tried to catch the dogs humanely. However, the dogs were shot, trapped, et. al. D.D. was president of Humane Society then." [identified by Dorothy Dorothy 11-1-84]
