The Nadine Tobin Collection of Helldorado Photographs, approximately 1940 to 1959, contains black-and-white photographic prints depicting parade floats during Helldorado Days celebrations in Las Vegas, Nevada. Also included is one image of a primary school class in Las Vegas.
The Navy Mothers' Club Photograph Collection is comprised of two black-and-white photographic prints depicting the 16th annual Navy Mothers' Clubs of America conference in Los Angeles, California that the Nevada Mothers' Club members attended on July 26-31, 1954.
The Blue Diamond Mine Photograph Collection depicts operations at the Blue Diamond Mine from approximately 1950 to 1971. The photographs include images of heavy machinery, mining structures, and workers. The photographs also contain aerial views of Blue Diamond Mine and the surrounding landscape.
The Harvey's Limited Edition Plates Collection (1970-1979) contains four pewter plates that depict four Las Vegas, Nevada historical sites: the Union Pacific Depot; City Hall in 1935; Clark County Courthouse in 1914; and Fourth Street School in 1910.
The Jeanne Russell Janish Photograph Collection (1918-1974) consists of 48 black-and-white and color photographic prints that feature Janish's family, her husband Carl Janish, family homes and pets, and travel photographs from the United States, China, and South America.
The Nevada Highway Department Photograph Collection contains photographic slides of a landscaping project performed by the State of Nevada Department of Highways between 1968 and 1970. This project took place in Las Vegas, Nevada along Interstate 15 (I-15) between Tropicana Avenue and Sahara Avenue.
The Edward Joseph Deck Photograph Collection (approximately 1870-1920) consists of photographic prints and negatives of Edward Joseph Deck and other miners in Pioche, Nevada and various locations around the townsite. There are also images of ranches, mills, and mill workers both in and outside of the Pioche townsite.
The Showboat Atlantic City Photograph Collection (1986) contains black-and-white and color photographic prints and conceptual sketches of the Showboat Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The photographs depict casino patrons in various locations throughout the Showboat, and the sketches show exterior and interior designs.
The Anna Dean Kepper Postcard Collection (approximately 1930-1977) contains postcards and photographic negatives depicting Southern Nevada and California. The images portray Scotty’s Castle in Death Valley, California, street scenes from Southern Nevada mining towns, and Nevada deserts and flora.
The Josephine Johnson Foster Photograph Collection depicts the Manor, Howard, Johnson, and Foster families in Nevada from approximately 1906 to 1946. The photographs depict family members and miners in the towns of Tonopah, Millers, and Goldfield, Nevada. The photographs also include family photographs taken in Oregon.
