The Henderson Public Library Photograph Collection on Henderson, Nevada (approximately 1940-1988) depicts life and growth in Southern Nevada. The collection documents the growth of Henderson, Nevada through images of Basic Magnesium Incorporated, housing throughout the area, and events. The documentation of Basic Magnesium Incorporated, its activites, personnel, and buildings from 1942 through 1944 is prominent in this collection.

The Karen and Eric Warren Collection of Folies Bergère Programs (approximately 1890-1950) contain programs from the Folies Bergère cabaret music hall in Paris, France. Materials also include programs from the Folies Bergère revue that was produced for the Tropicana Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada; San Francisco, California; and London, England. The collection features entertainers who performed as part of the Folies Bergère including Josephine Baker in the 1920s.
Ruth Ferron, a Las Vegas pioneer, and her daughter Shirley Swanson are donating the Ferron-Bracken photo collection to the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) Special Collections. Ms. Kepper, Special Collections curator, looks on. Typed description provided with image: "Ferron-Bracken Photograph Collection - December 1975, L-R: Ruth Ferron; Anna Dean Kepper; Shirley Ferron Swanson. William and Ruth Ferron came to Las Vegas in 1916-1917 where William Ferron bought several drugstores. Already estabished as a prominent pharmacist and businessman, Ferron in 1920 was elected Las Vegas' third mayor. In 1975 his widow, Ruth, donated the Ferron-Bracken photographs. Containing several hundred photos dating from as early as 1903, these are among the oldest pictures of Las Vegas in existence."
The Sheilagh Brooks Collection on Nevada Historical Sites and Museums dates from 1977 to 1983. It contains materials including budgets, planning proposals, agenda, and minutes related to the Nevada State Museum, including proposals to build a state museum in Southern Nevada. The collection also contains National Register of Historic Places nomination forms for sites throughout Nevada.
The Valda and Esper Esau Collection on Lido de Paris (1954-2014) mainly consists of newspaper clippings, ephemera, and programs documenting the career of entertainer Valda Esau, who danced in the Lido de Paris show at the Stardust Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada in the late 1950s. Other materials in this collection include show programs for other shows held in France featuring the Bluebell Girls dance troupe such as the original Lido de Paris. The collection also includes invitation and photographs featuring Esper Esau from Pzazz! '70, a show that was produced by Donn Arden at the Desert Inn Hotel.
Collection is comprised of blackjack odds analyzing and strategy software manuals and software created primarily by Real World Casino and Stanford Wong (pen name of gambling author, John Ferguson) from approximately 1992 to 1996. The manuals and software in this collection are intended primarily for expert blackjack players to analyze real world effects of the game and to allow users to generate strategies for a specific game.
The Sean Clark Collection of Las Vegas Entertainment Ephemera (approximately 1940-2004) contains a variety of material relating to different eras of Las Vegas, Nevada entertainment. Included in the collection are newspapers about the 2004 re-release of Howard Hughes' "Two Arabian Nights" film, and draft articles about 1960s entertainment leaders Jack Entratter and George Sidney. Also included in the collection are original photographs of Corinne Sidney with Jack Entratter and others in the 1960s, and Sidney's father's political advertisements that show her as a young girl. A newspaper clipping about Edthye and Lloyd Katz, a 1979 ShoWest award to the couple, and a Huntridge Theater poster document the couple's work in the entertainment industry in the 1960s and 1970s.
The Bruce Turner Collection on Transportation and Water in Southern Nevada contains reports, publications, legal files, project proposals, journal articles, financial reports, photographs, and maps concerning transportation policy and water usage in Southern Nevada from 1980 to 2014. The collection contains documents from organizations including the Regional Transportation Commissions of Clark County and Southern Nevada, the Clark County Department of Air Quality and Environmental Management, Clark County Comprehensive Planning, the Urban Land Institute, the City of Las Vegas Neighborhood Services Department, the Southern Nevada Water Authority, and the Las Vegas Valley Water District.
