Per patron comment, this was the 200 block of West Main Street with Beatty Mountain in the background, but it is currently a vacant lot.
Caption: Remnant of other days in Beatty. Abandoned saloons. During the boom of 1906, Beatty boasted a population of 1,000. There were 26 saloons. In 1918, only 2 remained to close their doors.

Patron commented that since the sign for the Exchange Hotel is visible, the school house was located at the 100 block of South 2nd Street in Beatty.
