Oral history interview with Jim Henderson conducted by Joyce Moore on July 16, 2006 for the UNLV University Libraries Oral History Collection. In this interview, Henderson discusses his employment at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada and remembers the fire in 1980. Oats conducted by Rebecca Snetselaar on April 29, 2016 for the Folklife Program of the Nevada Arts Council and the Oral History Research Center at UNLV Libraries. Oral history interview with Viki Richardson conducted by Chuck Williams on July 3, 2013 for the Friends of Red Rock Canyon in Nevada Oral History Project. Richardson begins the interview by talking about her family life and childhood in Oliver Ranch. She describes what her family did at the ranch as caretakers and tells stories when she lived in Blue Diamond Village, Nevada. Lastly, she describes what the town of Blue Diamond was like, and the history and layout of the Oliver Ranch property.

Oral history interview with LaMoyne Hinricksen conducted by Chuck Williams on July 03, 2013 for the Friends of Red Rock Canyon in Nevada Oral History Project. Hinricksen begins the interview by discussing his time working on different ranches, his move to Wilson Ranch, then finally to Oliver Ranch in 1954. Hinricksen also speaks about his time working with others and of strange unexplained events that happened on the ranch. He describes Blue Diamond Village and his time living there. Lastly, he talks about property structures and speaks more about his time at Oliver Ranch.

Oral history interview with Ed Price conducted by Chuck Williams on November 01, 2012 for the Friends of Red Rock Canyon in Nevada Oral History Project. Price begins the interview by talking about his family life, childhood, and education on Oliver Ranch near Blue Diamond, Nevada. He then talks about the past of Oliver Ranch, what changed, and what structures the property had before. Lastly, Price speaks about meeting Howard Hughes, exploring the mines, and other caretakers.

Oral history interview with John M. Fleegle Jr. conducted by Kenneth Wilson on March 17, 1978 for the UNLV University Libraries Oral History Collection. In this interview, Fleegle talks about arriving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1966. He recalls working in the gypsum mines in Blue Diamond, Nevada, moving into the service station business, and the types of occupations in Las Vegas before gaming. Lastly, Fleegle describes the economic development in the city as the population increased.
