Oral history interview with Celesta Lowe conducted by Alice Brown on June 26, 1980 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Lowe discusses being a part of the first staff to work in the James R. Dickinson Library at the University of Las Vegas, Nevada (UNLV). Lowe recalls the first collection of books that the library received and what it was like to work there while moving from the Las Vegas High School location to the new Nevada Southern University (UNLV) location.

Oral history interview with Cliff Luzier conducted by Jerry Masick on May 27, 1974 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Luzier discusses arriving to Las Vegas, Nevada to work on the Boulder (Hoover) Dam in 1932. Luzier also discusses his personal history and recalls experiencing the ways Las Vegas, Nevada has developed.

Oral history interview with Mary R. Lyles conducted by Lisa Ellis on March 18, 1978 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In the interview, Lyles discusses moving to Nevada from California in 1949 and experience of racial discrimination as an African American. Lyles also discusses her religious beliefs, her work as a maid and pantry waitress, and her experiences as a single mother raising eight children.

Oral history interview with Sally Halko conducted by Roberta Farmer on March 11, 1978 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Halko first talks about her family background, education, traveling, and church membership. She later talks about the development of Las Vegas, Nevada casinos, racial minorities, housing growth, Lake Mead, and the first theaters.

Oral history interview with Judith L. Hamblin conducted by Margaret Stambro on March 30, 1976 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Hamblin covers the history of Henderson, Nevada, local schools, teachers, and Helldorado. Hamblin also discusses her fondness for Lake Mead, the Basic Magnesium Plant, Nellis Air Force Base, and the early aboveground atomic blasts.
