Oral history interview with Heidi and Scott Swank conducted by Claytee D. White on July 28, 2014 and October 13, 2014 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. Heidi talks about forming the Nevada Preservation Foundation, her anthropological research in India, and her run for the Nevada Legislature representing Assembly District 16. The Swanks discuss the Downtown Project, the Flamingo Club, their 1956 house in the John S. Park neighborhood, and their neighbors.

Oral history interview with Margaret Ostler Stout-Hall conducted by Claytee D. White on August 11, 2014 for the West Charleston Neighborhoods--an Oral History Project of Ward 1. Stout-Hall discusses growing up in Las Vegas, Nevada’s Rancho Circle neighborhood, attending Las Vegas High School, and becoming a Rhythmette. She also talks about working at the El Portal Theatre, dancing at the Wildcat Lair, and working for Harry Reid later in life.

Oral history interview with Dr. Jacob Paz conducted by Claytee D. White on September 15, 2014 for the Southern Nevada Jewish Heritage Project. Paz discusses growing up in Israel and obtaining a green card to attend New York University in 1974. He then talks about his sense of community within the Jewish part of Las Vegas, Nevada and his affirmations on the Holocaust.

Oral history interview with Lois Tarkanian conducted by Claytee D. White on September 24, 2014 for the West Charleston Neighborhoods: An Oral History Project of Ward 1. In this interview, Lois Tarkanian discusses meeting her husband Jerry Tarkanian, moving to Las Vegas, Nevada, and her work as a speech pathologist. She also discusses teaching hearing-impaired children, being on the Clark County School District Board, and the people she represented in Ward 1 when she was on the Las Vegas City Council.

Oral history interview with Henry Shepherd conducted by Claytee D. White on October 22, 2014 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. Shepherd discusses being an African-American bartender on the Las Vegas, Nevada Strip, hired as a result of the 1971 consent decree. He also recalls memories of Jackson Street, the homes in North Las Vegas, and the hotels in downtown Las Vegas and on the Strip.

Oral history interview with Steve and Wendy Hart conducted by Barbara Tabach on October 23, 2014 and November 6, 2014 for the Southern Nevada Jewish Heritage Project. In the interview Steve talks about his time in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War and his time growing up in the Las Vegas, Nevada Jewish community. Steven and Wendy also discuss Steven's career in the Las Vegas food and beverage industry.

The artist and UNLV Emeritus Professor of Art discusses her early education and training in art that led her to work in sculpture, painting, stained glass, and other mediums. She also talks about her pieces created for the Jewish community in Las Vegas, Nevada.
