Oral history interview with Hugh McAllister conducted by A. D. Hopkins on January 15, 1981 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In the interview, McAllister discusses his early life working as a miner in Colorado and Nevada, his time in Lathrop Wells, Nevada, and his eventual move to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1936. McAllister also discusses his work as a bread truck driver, highway construction worker, and a machine shop worker for Basic Magnesium, Inc.

Oral history interview with James Deacon conducted by Elizabeth Warren on August 28, 2008 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. In this interview, Deacon discusses his ichthyological and environmental research around the geological formation of Devils Hole in Nevada, where he studied the Devils Hole pupfish. Deacon also describes other species of fish he studied in several different bodies of water in Nevada and his experiences over the course of those studies. He talks about how they measured population size of different fish, how species interacted with each other and responded to environmental changes, and performing ichthyological research for the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

Oral history interview with Carolyn Goodman conducted by David Schwartz on January 21, 2009 for the Remembering Jay Sarno Oral History Project. In this interview, Goodman talks about her friendships with Nate Jacobson, Jerry Zarowitz, and Elliot Price. She describes the business relationship that they had with Jay Sarno, the increase of casinos in Las Vegas, Nevada during the 1960s, and their contributions to the development of the Las Vegas Strip.

Oral history interview with Alma Hinds conducted by Kyle Baluyut in November 2021 for the Reflections: The Las Vegas Asian American and Pacific Islander Oral History Project. In this interview, Hinds recalls her journey to the United States after marrying a U.S. naval officer stationed in the Philippines. Hinds describes her experiences settling into Las Vegas, Nevada, her second marriage, and joining a local Filipino/Hawaiaan dance group.

In this interview Ramon Martinez discusses moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1968 to accept a position at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), which was known as the University of Nevada, Southern region at the time. Oral history interview with William Star conducted by Tony Morneau on September 15, 1973 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Star discusses moving from Brooklyn, New York to Henderson, Nevada in 1955. In 1959, Star moved from Henderson to Las Vegas, Nevada to run a family-owned pawn shop. Star goes into detail about atomic bomb testing, the growth of Las Vegas, and gambling.
