Oral history interviews with John Edmond conducted by Claytee D. White on February 19 and 25, 2013 for the African Americans in Las Vegas: a Collaborative Oral History Project. Edmond discusses his family history in Tallulah, Louisiana and moving to Las Vegas, Nevada before Basic Magnesium, Inc. drew many African Americans to the region. He recalls working as a young boy at the local bowling alley and later attending college in Seattle, Washington. After college, Edmond returned to Las Vegas and became the first Black baccarat dealer at the Stardust Hotel working for Frank Rosenthal. He discusses later owning the largest shopping center in the city.

Oral history interview with James Sparrow conducted by Lonnie McDonald on March 09, 1976 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Sparrow discusses his personal history and the history of Las Vegas, Nevada. Sparrow discusses life in early Las Vegas, how Las Vegas has changed, and the development of the Strip. Sparrow also discusses race relations in Las Vegas and the establishment of the Nevada Test Site.

Oral history interview with Velma Haselton conducted by Catherine Bellver on September 13, 2001 for the Women's Research Institute of Nevada (WRIN) Las Vegas Women Oral History Project. Haselton opens her interview describing her childhood and schooling. Haselton then discusses finishing her accounting degree at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Hasleton talks about her three marriages, her husbands' jobs and her experiences in the various marriages. Haselton goes on to discuss moving back and forth from Nevada to California for her career in accounting. Haselton ends her interview describing why she finally settled in Las Vegas, Nevada, and her work as a CPA at the Kafoury Accounting firm.

Oral history interview with Alonzo A. Anderson conducted by Lowell H. Townley on February 21, 1972 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Anderson discussing being the fourth licensed veterinarian in southern Nevada and his profession in general. Oral history interview with Joseph Fry conducted by Lisa Gioia-Acres on October 09, 2007 for the UNLV @ 50 Oral History Project. In this interview Joseph Fry discusses moving to Las Vegas, Nevada to work as a professor of history at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He talks about how he was welcomed to the history department by notable people like Roman "Jay" Zorn, Ralph Roske, and Tom Wright. He also talks about doing research, writing books, and becoming history department chair numerous times.

Oral history interview with Ann Ronzone conducted by Claytee D. White on July 19, 2005 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. In this interview, Ronzone discusses her personal history and arriving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1946. Ronzone recalls atomic bomb testing, local organizations that she was involved in, Ronzone's department store, and changes in Las Vegas.
