Oral history interview with W.E. Butch Leypoldt conducted by Bruce Davidson on April 01, 1976 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Leypoldt describes life in early Las Vegas, Nevada after arriving in 1938. Leypoldt also briefly discusses being drafted in World War II and the city's reaction to the war.

Oral history interview with Erika Castro conducted by Maribel Estrada Calderon on November 12, 2018 for the Latinx Voices of Southern Nevada Oral History Project. In this interview, Castro discusses her early life in Mexico City, Mexico before migrating with her family to North Las Vegas, Nevada in 1992. She describes adapting to the city, her early education, and learning that she was an undocumented immigrant. Castro then talks about Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) and how DACA gave her a vision for a future for the first time. Later, Castro discusses The Development, Relief, and Education for Alien Minors (DREAM) Act and explains objectives of the nonprofit organization, Progressive Leadership Alliance of Nevada (PLAN). Lastly, Castro talks about her involvement with Planned Parenthood, studying social work at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), and immigration resources provided by the UNLV Law Clinic.

Oral history interview with Rachel Gibson conducted by Kay Long and Caryll Batt Dziedziak on August 25, 1998, September 01, 1998, September 14, 1998, and April 07, 1999 for the Women's Research Institute of Nevada (WRIN) Las Vegas Women Oral History Project. Gibson opens her interview discussing her family's migration history, living in Yerington, Nevada, and her immediate family. Gibson then describes her life in Tonopah, Nevada. She talks about education in the area, the social clubs, and recreation activities available. Gibson then discusses her elementary school teaching career and ends her interviews describing her family life and life in Las Vegas, Nevada in the 1940s and 1950s.

Oral history interview with Kelly McFarlane-Smith conducted by Dennis McBride on October 07, 2008 for the Las Vegas Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Archives Oral History Project. In this interview, Smith discusses her involvement with the magazine Lesbian Voice in Las Vegas, Nevada. She talks about the purpose behind creating Lesbian Voice, how it was managed, and merging with the magazine Las Vegas Bugle. Smith then discusses the other gay magazines and organizations that she was involved with in Las Vegas.

Oral history interview with Sara Kalaoram conducted by Alexandra Arabshian on November 15, 2021 for Reflections: The Las Vegas Asian American and Pacific Islander Oral History Project.

Sara Kalaoram shares her immigration story to the United States from Singapore in 2002 at the age of four. She talks about her upbringing in Las Vegas, Nevada, her education from Arizona State University, and her work with the Culinary Workers Union and with Assemblyman Steve Yeager as his campaign manager and executive assistant. Sara Kalaoram discusses cultural differences between Singapore and the United States, the immigration stories of her parents, and her experience as an Asian-American immigrant in the twenty-first century.

Oral history interview with Charles Russell conducted by Stacy Petrelli on April 12, 2003 for the Public School Principalship Oral History Project. In this interview, Russell reflects upon his nearly 30-year career in school administration in Highland Park, Michigan. He discusses his leadership style as an elementary, middle, and high school principal, and his philosophy of being a leader in the school.

Oral history interview with Clara Alvarez conducted by Norma Flores and Claytee D. White on October 25, 2018 for the Latinx Voices of Southern Nevada Oral History Project. Brian "Paco" Alvarez also participated in the interview. Clara Alvarez describes her family background and her childhood in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She recalls dropping out of high school to work, memories of early jobs, and why she moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1966. She secured her first position at the Sands Hotel as a maid during a time when that job position was held almost exclusively by Black women. Alvarez describes her time working at the Sands Hotel, and recalls meeting Frank Sinatra and his wife. After working as a maid, she was recruited to deal games in clubs and casinos, and was the first woman to deal at the Las Vegas Club. Then, Alvarez explains the changes in racial discrimination in the city, and says she never felt discriminated against in Las Vegas. Lastly, she talks about moving back to Florida and what she did while living there.
