Evan Louie discusses his childhood growing up in San Francisco, Sacramento, and Hawaii with his older brother. He shares his decision to move to Las Vegas as an adult with his infant daughter after the death of his wife to be closer to his mother, stepfather, and stepsister. Louie shares his work promoting Asian American Pacific Islander peoples in politics, the media, philanthropic pursuits, and leadership opportunities.

Oral history interview with Carole Sorenson conducted by Andre Yates on November 11, 2002 for the Public School Principalship Oral History Project. In this interview, Sorenson reflects upon her career as a teacher in Burley, Idaho and eventually as a teacher and administrator with the Clark County School District (CCSD) from the 1950s to the 1980s. She describes her experience as an elementary school teacher, and then her subsequent positions as dean, assistant principal, and principal of junior high and high schools throughout CCSD. She discusses trends and changes that have taken place during her career, and comments on contemporary issues such as standardized testing.

Oral history interview with Lee Gates conducted by Claytee D. White on December 05, 1996 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview Judge Lee Gates discusses how he came to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1960 and how he lived in the historic Westside neighborhood. He also talks about civil rights, racial discrimination in the workplace, and the integration of Las Vegas hotels.

Oral history interview with William Trent Jr. conducted by Cathy Joseph on March 23, 1986 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Trent discusses his family background, and his personal history in Las Vegas, Nevada. Trent then discusses his work as an electrical contractor, changes in Las Vegas as gambling increased, and he recalls the development of casinos on the Las Vegas Strip.

Oral history interview with Chelsie Campbell conducted by Maribel Estrada Calderón, Laurents Bañuelos-Benítez, and Nathalie Martínez on January 09, 2019 for the Latinx Voices of Southern Nevada Oral History Project. In this interview, Campbell discusses her family background and growing up in Las Vegas, Nevada. She talks about her educational experience, her early interest in becoming a lobbyist, and her involvement with the Latin Chamber of Commerce and the Student Organization of Latinos (SOL). Campbell recalls the growth of SOL across Las Vegas, the organization’s efforts with The Development, Relief, and Education for Alien Minors (DREAM) Act, and attending the Boyd Law School at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). Lastly, Campbell discusses the Latino Enrichment Conference (LEC), the Latin Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals, and Chicanos Por La Causa Nevada (CPLC).
