During this interview Allen discusses the history of Las Vegas, Nevada from his perspective, high schools in Nevada, casinos, local television stations, sports and recreation, and the Las Vegas Strip.

Oral history interview with Denis Lee Askew conducted by Su Kim Chung on August 28, 2015 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. In this interview, Askew discusses Las Vegas, Nevada in the 1950s and 1960s and his experiences working as a busboy at the Sands Hotel in the late 1960s. He discusses seeing shows and recalls watching the Copa Girls show. Later, Askew describes his band, The Universe, and talks about getting a radio show where he discusses the music scene in Las Vegas. Lastly, Askew discusses the changes in Las Vegas and talks about the Music Department at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV).

Earl and Gloria Alger discuss how they met at the Mormon Church and lived in Las Vegas, Nevada their entire lives. Gloria's great-grandfather Torrel Lewis was one of the original pioneers from Salt Lake City, so they talk of pioneer days in Las Vegas.

Swatling discusses her primary caregivers, her maternal grandmother and her great uncle and aunt. She also discusses working in the reference department at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas Libraries for 28 years and experiencing various evolutions in the libraries.

Oral history interview with Paul Hejmanowski conducted by Lois M. Goodall on March 13, 2014 for West Charleston Neighborhoods-- An Oral History Project of Ward 1. Paul Hejmanowski in this interview recalls his family moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1972 and his first impressions of the city and its people. Hejmanowski then discusses his children’s activities at Lorenzi Park and traveling to an area near Caliente to cut down their Christmas tree. He also discusses how the law and justice community has changed in Las Vegas, given the rise in the amount of lawyers in Las Vegas and the advent of modern office technology.
