Mathews discusses early life in Boulder City, Nevada. Mathews also discusses the changes that Boulder City, Nevada had as a result of the population growth in Southern Nevada. Mathews later describes her various visits to Las Vegas, Nevada and recalls attending shows at the casinos on Fremont Street.

Rogers discusses many issues that affected the black community in Las Vegas, Nevada, gives background on community marches against police brutality, details three controversial cases and legislation that would create a citizen's review board for police and sheriff departments.

Oral history interview with Frank Cope conducted by Marianne Johnson on March 15, 1978 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Cope describes his occupation as distribution superintendent at the Las Vegas Valley Water District and meeting his wife who also worked for the water district as a secretary in the engineering department. Cope also mentions multiple organizations and committees that he was a part of.

Oral history interview with Ward Lindquist conducted by Martin A. Judd on February 28, 1979 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In the interview, Lindquist discusses his work as a bartender, maritime pilot, and sheet metal worker in Southern Nevada. He also discusses his early life in South Dakota, family, and his various occupations prior to arriving in Las Vegas, Nevada in 1946.

In this interview, LeClair talks about her family history in Nevada, and the flu epidemic of 1918. She specifically talks about Boulder (Hoover) Dam, Eldorado Fair, and how Las Vegas, Nevada has grown.
