Oral history interview with Scott Ober conducted by Bettye Cobb on November 11, 2009 for the Public School Principalship Oral History Project. Oral history interview with Jerry Engel conducted by Barbara Tabach on March 01, 2016 for the Southern Nevada Jewish Heritage Project. Engel highlights people, casinos, and other observations of Las Vegas, Nevada history that occurred since his move to the city in 1953. He provides insights about the role of an accountant in the gaming industry. He also discusses the influence of Jewish business leaders in an array of local gaming and non-gaming issues, including the retail world, Jim Crow era segregation, and the astonishing growth of the valley over six decades.

Oral history interview with Helen Mott Cecil conducted by Claytee D. White on April 24, 2007 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. Helen Mott Cecil discusses growing up in Las Vegas, Nevada on the Westside, including seeing the Helldorado parades and Hoover (Boulder Dam). She also discusses working for Farmers Home Association and in the medical care and entertainment industry during the 1930s. She then discusses her divorce and other topics like the atomic bomb testing, the bus system, and downtown Las Vegas.

Oral history interview with Norma Friedman conducted by Barbara Tabach on November 19, 2015 and April 06, 2016 for the Southern Nevada Jewish Heritage Project. Friedman talks about owning Walker Furniture, her family history, and being a member of the Las Vegas, Nevada Jewish community for over 40 years.

Oral history interviews with James Dean Leavitt conducted by Claytee D. White on September 27 and October 4, 2022 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. In this interview, Leavitt recalls his role in establishing a medical school at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), now known as Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine. Leavitt was elected to the Board of Regents in 2004 while Jim Rogers was interim Chancellor of the Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE), and he suggested the creation of an ad hoc committee Health Science Center Committee. In 2009, Leavitt became Chairman of the Board of Regents, Dan Klaich became Chancellor, and in the following year, Dr. Mark Doubrava joined the board. In May 2014, the planning dean was hired, Dr. Barbara Atkinson, and the UNLV School of Medicine was officially established on August 22, 2014.

Oral history interview with Robert “Bob” Agonia conducted by Marcela Rodriguez-Campo on September 6, 2018 for the Latinx Voices of Southern Nevada Oral History Project. Agonia recalls his community being very diverse, with families sharing Filipino and Mexican American heritage and his neighbors being Japanese Americans. Agonia also discusses the role he played in starting the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV) engineering school, and helping start a Minority Engineering Program at UNLV. He then speaks about Latino community involvement in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Oral history interview with Carey Burke conducted by Drew Casale on February 23, 1980 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Burke discusses moving to Henderson, Nevada with his family at a young age and living in Las Vegas, Nevada. Burke also discusses his profession as a passenger service agent for an airline company. He then talks about McCarran Airport, its various airlines, and the development of the Las Vegas Strip.
