Oral history interview with Janet Saxton conducted by Francine Gordon on November 10, 2006 for the Public School Principalship Oral History Project. In this interview, Saxton reflects upon her twenty years as a teacher and administrator with Nevada’s Clark County School District. She discusses the interactions between teachers and principals, and challenges that she faced in fostering relationships with teachers. She then describes her personal approach to school administration, and discusses how her upbringing and experiences shaped that approach.

Oral history interview with Judy and Harry Campbell conducted by Stefani Evans and Claytee D. White on October 04, 2016 for the Building Las Vegas Oral History Project. In this interview, Judy discusses her early life in St. John’s, Newfoundland and her move to Ottawa, Canada. Harry discusses his upbringing in Ogden, Utah and his initial interests in architecture. He recalls moving to Las Vegas, Nevada to work for architect Julius Gabriel, construction planning for the Four Queens, and planning for the home of Jerry Mack. Later, Judy talks about her move to Boulder City, Nevada in 1974, her involvement in interior design, and her initial interests in residential real estate. Later, Harry recalls his work with the construction planning of federal court rooms, working with Las Vegas architects, and the process of becoming a licensed architect. Lastly, Judy and Harry talk about the development of Lake Las Vegas.

Oral history interview with Heidi Sarno Straus conducted by A. D. Hopkins on April 04, 1999 for the Las Vegas Review-Journal First 100 Oral History Project. In this interview, Straus discusses her personal history and the life of her father, Jay Sarno. She recalls living at Caesars Palace Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada and describes what it was like living in casinos with her family. Straus discusses the opening of Circus Circus Hotel and Casino and hosting parties in the hotel rooms as a teenager. Lastly, Straus talks about the changes in her fathers’ hotels in Las Vegas.

Oral history interview with Curtis Jones conducted by Lisa Holm on November 18, 2006 for the Public School Principalship Oral History Project. In this interview, Jones reflects on his nearly 30-year career in the Clark County School District as a teacher, assistant principal, and principal from the late 1970s to the early 2000s. He discusses his family upbringing and early inspirations that led him to pursue principalship, and challenges that he faced as a school administrator. He also discusses pressures that teachers and administrators face on a regular basis, and offers suggestions for how to manage job demands.

Oral history interview with Roxalana "Mrs. Morgan" Morgan conducted by Faye and Dan Dannatt circa 1964 to 1965. In this interview, Morgan reads her original manuscript that would be used for a book regarding her experience living on Sunrise Mountain near Las Vegas, Nevada. She discusses her religious reasons for going to the mountain, people that she met while on the mountain, and some of her biggest challenges with wildlife and no shelter. Oral history interview with Dell Ray Rhodes conducted by Claytee D. White on April 01, 2010 for the African Americans in Las Vegas: a Collaborative Oral History Project. Rhodes discusses working at various jobs, including being one of the first African-Americans to work in the University of Nevada Las Vegas Registrar's office and at the U.S. Post Office. She also discusses the civil rights movement and school integration in Las Vegas, Nevada in the early 1970s.
