Jackie Abell (b. 1924) discusses her experiences growing up in Virginia City, Reno, and Overton, Nevada. She specifically discusses her experiences growing up on a ranch, railroading, above ground atomic testing, flooding, and wild animals.

Jimmy shares his family's history as entertainers and producers in Korea and their migration to the United States when Jimmy was six years old. Oral history interview with Mark Hall-Patton conducted by Stefani Evans and Claytee D. White on August 25, 2016 for the Building Las Vegas Oral History Project. Hall-Patton discusses coming to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1993, creating the Howard W. Cannon Aviation Museum, and becoming a director for Clark County Museums in 2008, just when the economic downturn caused large layoffs and a drop in visitor numbers. He also talks about how joining the television show Pawn Stars in 2009 significantly raised visitor numbers and increased visibility of museums all over the Las Vegas Valley.

Oral history interview with Mimi Rodden conducted by Claytee White on April 9, 2009 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. Rodden begins by discussing her family's Basque heritage from their immigration to California and then into northern Nevada. She then discusses her immediate family, especially her mother, and the beginning of ther own volunteer work, which led to a lifelong interest in historic preservation that began with fundraising for the Nevada State Museum. After moving to Las Vegas, Nevada, Rodden continued working on historic preservation activities around the Keil Ranch and other historic sites in Clark County. Her work led to a Presidential selection for the National Advisory Council on Historic Preservation. She then discusses her move to Boulder City, Nevada and her work on the preservation of Tonopah Mining District.

Oral history interview with Jim Bilbray conducted by Jeff van Ee on March 26, 2009 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. Bilbray first outlines his life from high school, to enlistment in the Army Reserve, attending American University, and working for Nevada Senator Howard Cannon. He then speaks of the different political philosophies in Northern Nevada versus Southern Nevada, the thinking in the mining industry, Sagebrush Rebellion, federal ownership of 86% of Nevada, the doughnut hole around the valley, Bureau of Land Management, hearings on environmental matters, taxation, and grazing laws.

Oral history interviews with Shauna Hughes conducted by Stefani Evans and Claytee D. White on August 31, 2016 and October 11, 2016 for the Building Las Vegas Oral History Project. In the first interview, Hughes discusses her early life in New York and later moving to Ohio. She talks about attending John Carroll University, moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1982, and being a founding member of the Southern Nevada Association of Women Attorneys. Hughes recalls being appointed Henderson City Attorney, the early development of Green Valley, and the rapid growth of that area. Hughes then describes the Pacific Engineering and Production Company of Nevada (PEPCON) explosion in 1988. In the second interview, Hughes discusses her work as Henderson City Attorney. She describes collaborating with elected city officials, the development of the Galleria Mall, and the establishment of Nevada State College (NSC). Lastly, Hughes talks about community support for new infrastructure in Henderson.
