Oral history interview with Lubertha Johnson conducted by Perry Kaufman on April 17, 1972 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Johnson discusses segregation in businesses and throughout Las Vegas, Nevada. Johnson then recalls her involvement with the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) in 1940 and serving as president in the years 1953 and 1954.

In this interview, Patricia Merl discusses her career as a professional dancer, working at the famous Radio City Music Hall, moving to Las Vegas, Nevada for opportunities in dancing, and moving to Florida for new possibilities. She also discusses teaching at the Hotel School at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and working as the Director of Gaming Outreach for the International Gaming Institute.

Oral history interview with Greg Thompson conducted by Jim Colleran on March 17, 1978 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Thompson discusses growing up around the Crestwood neighborhood and recalls his education in Las Vegas, Nevada. He then describes the Huntridge Theater, local businesses, and the increase of casinos. Lastly, Thompson discusses fishing at Lake Mead and population growth.

Claxton discusses living in Reno and Las Vegas, Nevada, attending the Westside School, working as shield in El Morocco nightclub, and memories of Jackson Street life.

Oral history interview with Ray Christian conducted by Russell Ellis on March 19, 1978 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Christian discusses race relations within schools, baseball teams, theatres, and Boy Scouts in Las Vegas, Nevada. He also talks about his custodial at the El Portal Theatre, the Las Vegas Westside neighborhood, and living through the Great Depression. Christian ends the interview discussing how white and black veterans helped improved race relations in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Oral history interview with Alice Waite conducted by Claytee D. White on July 14, 2015 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. In this interview, Waite primarily discusses her time in The Rhythmettes, a female student dance group based out of Las Vegas High School in Las Vegas, Nevada during the 1950s. Waite describes the group's choreographer and coach, Evelyn Stuckey, her fellow Rhythmettes, and the performances they gave at Las Vegas High School and around the state. Waite also talks about her family history, what she likes about Las Vegas' downtown, and her career as a teacher.
