Judith Boyer discusses moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1948 and her careers working at Ronzoni's Department Store and as a stewardess for Bonanza Airlines. She also discusses Las Vegas as it was in the 1950s.

Dwyer discusses moving to Henderson, Nevada in 1942 when her father was hired by Basic Magnesium, Incorporated. She also discusses attending the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, formerly named Nevada Southern University, and having a career as a high school teacher in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Oral history interview with Lee Scroggins conducted by Claytee D. White on February 27, 2009 for the UNLV @ 50 Oral History Project. In this interview Lee Scroggins describes moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in March of 1980 and starting work at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in an administration position. She talked about the various departments she worked for, her brief hiatus from the university from 1985 to 1988, and her retirement.

Emery discusses living in Southern Nevada, particularly in the areas from Searchlight, Nevada to Nelson, Nevada. He also discusses the building of the railroad, mining in Nevada, and the books that were written about his discoveries and explorations during his life.
