Oral history interview with Chester Davis conducted by Keith Sargent on June 24, 1987 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Oral history interview with Ruth Sweet conducted by Bennie Baucham on February 07, 1977 for the African Americans in Las Vegas: a Collaborative Oral History Project. Sweet discusses her first experience with racism in Las Vegas, Nevada, and describes racism practiced by sanitarians. Sweet also discusses discrimination in housing and describes how job opportunities for African Americans have improved.

Oral history interview with Curtis Myles conducted by Claytee D. White and Stefani Evans on March 16, 2017 for the Building Las Vegas Oral History Project. In this interview, Myles discusses his childhood in Las Vegas, Nevada and growing up in the Westside. He recalls his employment at McCarran International Airport, the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC), and later the Las Vegas Monorail. Lastly, Myles talks about corporate gaming mergers as they apply to monorail transit in Las Vegas, and speaks to the future of monorail transport relative to the airport, Maryland Parkway, and Downtown Las Vegas.

Oral history interview with Jack Melvin conducted by Perry Kaufman on April 24, 1972 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Melvin discusses his work as publicity and advertising director for the El Rancho Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada starting in 1948. He goes on to explain his methods of selling advertisements and publicity.
