Oral history interview with Rosina Goodwin conducted by Bruce Eubank on March 15, 1978 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Goodwin first talks about her family background before discussing the Las Vegas Strip, the Stewart Ranch, and Twin Lakes. She also talks about schools, Boulder (Hoover) Dam, the atomic testing, and her work as a telephone operator. The latter part of the interview includes discussion on changes in Las Vegas, the Helldorado Parade, and changes in weather.

Oral history interview with Jack Cathcart conducted by Debbie Pfefferkorn on March 01, 1980 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Cathcart’s interview focuses on the transformations in the entertainment industry in Las Vegas, Nevada during World War II. He discusses the varying entertainment in hotel lounges, different dance styles, and the changes in customer service within these hotels.

Oral history interview with Jo Mueller conducted by Claytee D. White on August 26, 2011 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. Mueller discusses moving to Las Vegas, Nevada with her husband, Hal Mueller, in 1956 so he could work for the federal government as a meteorologist and was involved with nuclear testing. She also discusses raising their two children and her involvement in the Parent Teacher Association, Weight Watchers, and the League of Women Voters.

Oral history interview with Marianne Carpenter conducted by Jim Campbell on March 02, 1977 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Carpenter recalls the crash of Carole Lombard’s plane, the early above ground atomic tests, pollution, and other social and environmental occurrences that have taken place in Las Vegas, Nevada. Carpenter also discusses the Helldorado Parade, the Downtown area, and the Mesquite Club. Lastly, she offers an overview of her experience working for Nellis Air Force Base and her job at the Enviornmental Protection Agency (EPA).

Oral history interview with Estes McDoniel conducted by Gregory S. Hayes on March 11, 1975 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. McDoniel discusses his personal history in Henderson, Nevada, including his campaign for Mayor. McDoniel then discusses the first high school in Henderson, Nevada, and the Basic Magnesium Plant.

Oral history interview with Paul A. Beach conducted by William Gekakis on February 17, 1976 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. During this interview, Beach discusses housing, physical boundaries of the city of Las Vegas, Nevada, the airport, church, and transportation. Beach also discusses tourist recreation, the economy, Nellis Air Force Base, the Las Vegas Strip, industries, presidential visits, the Korean War, atomic tests, and the educational system.

Oral history interview with Debra McCracken conducted by Claytee D. White on April 13, 2017 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. In this interview, McCracken discusses her early interests in library science and children's literature. She recalls being hired at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), working in the James R. Dickinson Library, and the transition into Lied Library. She talks about the switch to electronic cataloging, and working at the Teachers Development Resources Library (TDRL) at UNLV. Lastly, McCracken discusses the future of UNLV Libraries.
