Oral history interview with Clyde Perkins conducted by William G. White on October 03, 1989 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Oral history interview with Lestor Burgwardt conducted by Connie Carr on February 09, 1980 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Burgwardt covers local entertainment, Lake Mead, school districts, and gaming’s effect on the educational system. He also recalls his move to Nevada and offers a general overview of Henderson, Nevada in 1954.

Garrison first talks about her schooling in Las Vegas, Nevada, the atomic testing, the Devils Hole in Ash Meadows, early church involvement, and some of the environmental aspects of Las Vegas. Gilbert first talks about his educational background in Las Vegas, Nevada. He then talks about his political involvement, activity in social clubs, early air conditioning, and the illegal production of whiskey. He also talks about the Helldorado Parade, railroad activity, and early policing practices in Las Vegas.

Oral history interview with Bob Campagna conducted by Kathleen Neumann on March 17, 1978 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Bob (Bobby) Campagna (b. September 18, 1950 in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania) talks about the history of Nevada. During the interview, Bobby discusses hotels, schools, city recreation, and Lorenzi Park. He also describes relocating to Las Vegas, his goals in life, and his life in Nevada.

Oral history interview with Celesta Lowe conducted by Alice Brown on June 26, 1980 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Lowe discusses being a part of the first staff to work in the James R. Dickinson Library at the University of Las Vegas, Nevada (UNLV). Lowe recalls the first collection of books that the library received and what it was like to work there while moving from the Las Vegas High School location to the new Nevada Southern University (UNLV) location.
