Oral history interview with William Star conducted by Tony Morneau on September 15, 1973 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Star discusses moving from Brooklyn, New York to Henderson, Nevada in 1955. In 1959, Star moved from Henderson to Las Vegas, Nevada to run a family-owned pawn shop. Star goes into detail about atomic bomb testing, the growth of Las Vegas, and gambling.

Oral history interview with Bradley Rothermel conducted by Claytee D. White on July 31, 2006 for the UNLV @ 50 Oral History Project. Rothermel discusses his career as a coach for the Chicago Cubs and athletic director at the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV) from 1981 to 1990, as well as the history of the athletic programs at UNLV.

Oral history interview with Greg McCurdy conducted by Claytee D. White on March 7, 2013 and August 21, 2013 for the African Americans in Las Vegas: a Collaborative Oral History Project. McCurdy discusses growing up in the early Westside neighborhood as a boy and his work as a police officer with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD). He then talks about retiring after 30 years of service and his following career overseeing the Homeland Security and Law Enforcement Investigations Group at the LVMPD.

Oral history interview with Phillip L. Cook conducted by Richard Strahan on March 3, 1977 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Cook first talks about his parents' move to Nevada and discusses how the school system has changed over time. He then describes the first businesses that opened up in the Downtown and Strip areas of Las Vegas, Nevada before discussing prostitution, Block 16, and recreational activities available to youth. Cook also talks about the first television sets and telephone systems made available, and he moves on to talk about the prices of things such as movies and haircuts when he was younger. The interview then moves to discussions on the Old Ranch, racial discrimination, school integration, the crime rate, and the school system in Las Vegas.

Oral history interview with Hugh McAllister conducted by A. D. Hopkins on January 15, 1981 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In the interview, McAllister discusses his early life working as a miner in Colorado and Nevada, his time in Lathrop Wells, Nevada, and his eventual move to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1936. McAllister also discusses his work as a bread truck driver, highway construction worker, and a machine shop worker for Basic Magnesium, Inc.

Oral history interview with Katherine McKee conducted by Claytee D. White on September 3, 2016 for the African Americans in Las Vegas: a Collaborative Oral History Project. In her interview McKee discusses her career dancing at the Mint, The Silver Slipper's Minsky's Burlesque, and the Dune's Viva Les Girls. She also discusses her performances on the road with Les Girls Montreal road show as well and her experience as Sammy Davis' "road wife."

Oral history interview with Charles Silvestri conducted by Claytee D. White on December 31, 2012 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. Silvestri begins by discussing his family history and his personal history in the United States Army during the 1950s. He describes moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1957 after leaving the army, working as a casino dealer at The Mint Hotel and Casino and California Club while attending the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, called Nevada Southern University at the time. Silvestri then describes attending the University of Nevada, Reno to finish his degree and moving back to Las Vegas to begin his career as a teacher. Lastly, he talks about life in Las Vegas, entertainment in the city, race relations in Las Vegas during the 1960s, and the middle school that was named in his honor.
