Oral history interview with Doris, Jerry, and Marcy Welt conducted by Barbara Tabach on November 30, 2014 for the Southern Nevada Jewish Heritage Project. In this interview, the Welts discuss how they came to Las Vegas, Nevada in the early 1970s from California. They also discuss Eli Welt's pawnshop, Stoney's, which he acquired from Doris Welt's father, Jerry Fox. Jerry and Marcy Welt talk about how they met and came to Las Vegas. They also talk about the community that existed in Las Vegas at the time, and their involvement with B'nai B'rith.
Oral history interview with Carol and Leonard Raizin conducted by Claytee D. White on April 08, 2009 for the Heart to Heart Oral History Project. In this interview Leonard Raizin discusses working at Southern Nevada Memorial Hospital and Sunrise Hospital, being the only anesthesiologist in the Las Vegas, Nevada area, and working extreme hours. Then Carol Raizin discusses being one of the first students to graduate from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a degree in Psychology, working alongside her husband in their office handling bookkeeping for eight anesthesiologists, and retired life in Las Vegas.

Oral history interview with Jessie Emmett conducted by Irene Rostine on October 16, 1996 for the Women's Research Institute of Nevada (WRIN) Las Vegas Women Oral History Project. Emmett discusses moving from Southern California to Nevada for her husband's job at the Nevada Test Site in 1954. Emmett goes on to discuss working at the New Frontier Hotel briefly, and her eventual decision to go into real estate. Emmett then talks about creating a real estate agent training program, and about the work environment for women real estate agents. Lastly, Emmett describes her experience running her own real estate office, and the personal satisfaction the job provided.
Sarah Haggerty was born in Las Vegas, Nevada on June 22, 1976. She is a therapist. Her grandparents owned a home in the historical John S. Park neighborhood. As of February 02, 2010 she owns a house in the John S. Park neighborhood as well.
Lyle Rivera was born November 22, 1942 and moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1943. He was raised as an only child of a single mother, who was a cocktail waitress at the Golden Nugget Hotel. Rivera distinguished himself within the community as a lawyer and activist. He also held professional careers in both the Attorney General’s and District Attorney’s office.
