The photographs primarily depict Brookman with other Nevada politicians, including U.S. Senators Harry Reid, Alan Bible, Eugene McCarty, and Howard Cannon, and Nevada Governors Paul Laxalt, Mike O’Callaghan, Richard Bryan, and Grant Sawyer. The photographs also depict Brookman at political events with the Nevada National Guard, bill-signing ceremonies, and at events in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Jeff Gale Photographs (approximately 1992-2001) primarily contain aerial images of the Las Vegas Strip taken from the Stratosphere Tower and other locations around the city that were shot by Las Vegas, Nevada photographer Jeff Gale. Materials include images of the Sam's Town 300 NASCAR race at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway as well as images of the Hoover Dam and Lake Mead Recreation Area. The collection also includes what may be personal family photographs taken around various locations around southern Nevada and the southwest region.

The Claes Oldenburg Photograph consists of a single black-and-white photograph taken by Patricia Mortati in March 1981 of sculptor Claes Oldenburg. The photograph depicts Oldenburg watching the installation of the Flashlight, which is reflected in a window behind Oldenburg. The Flashlight is steel sculpture created by Oldenburg and artist Coosje Van Bruggen for the University of Nevada, Las Vegas's campus.
