Description

The view of unidentified buildings near the Trans World Airlines (TWA) terminal in an unnamed airport in Boulder City, Nevada. One of America's oldest International Air Carriers (INAC) that was popular during the twentieth century, the Trans World Airlines was aided by aviator Charles Lindbergh in mapping out the company's early air routes, and so in the 1930s Trans World Airlines was also known as "The Lindbergh Line."

Description

The view of the Trans World Airlines (TWA) hangar containing airplanes in an unnamed airport in Boulder City, Nevada. One of America's oldest International Air Carriers (INAC) that was popular during the twentieth century, the Trans World Airlines was aided by aviator Charles Lindbergh in mapping out the company's early air routes, and so in the 1930s Trans World Airlines was also known as "The Lindbergh Line." Transcribed across the top of the building: "Fly TWA, The Lindbergh Line. Chicago, New York. Los Angeles, San Francisco."

Description

An image of automobile traffic on Fremont Street in downtown Las Vegas, looking northwest towards the Union Pacific railroad station. The Golden Nugget and Hotel Apache sign above the Horseshoe Club are visible at the intersection on Second Street. The Lucky Strike Club, Vegas Vic (outside of the Pioneer Club) and Monte Carlo Club are visible on the south side of the street. The corner of the Silver Palace, which opened in May 1956, is visible between the signs for the Boulder Club and Las Vegas Club on the north side of the street.

Description

The view of a street passing through Searchlight, Nevada. Formed in 1897, Searchlight is an old boomtown that was made popular when George Frederick Colton discovered gold at the location where the town is now built. Different shops and automobiles line the sides of the dirt road, while mountains and shrubs lie in the distance. Stores that reside on the left side of the street include The Big Store grocery and supply store, Arrowhead Garage, and a cafe. Buildings such as a garage and the Nevada Hotel stand on the opposing right side of the street. Transcribed onto the bottom of the postcard: "Searchlight, Nevada." The Frasher's Foto logo is also printed onto the bottom right corner.
