Oral history interview with Leonard R. Fayle conducted by Jennifer Sealey on February 21, 1980 and March 06, 1980 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Fayle discusses his family history and life in Gene, Goodspring, and Sandy Valley, Nevada. He also discusses his involvement in organizations, early mining, religion, and prostitution.

Oral history interview with Tom Ehlen conducted by Lisa Gioia-Acres on January 10, 2008 for the All That Jazz Oral History Project. Ehlen recalls his career as a professional trumpet player including playing with the Glenn Miller Orchestra, Frank Sinatra, Burt Bacharach, and others. He also discusses playing in the bands of various casinos on the Las Vegas, Nevada Strip.

Oral history interview with T.J. Moran conducted by Georgina Pataki on March 20, 1976 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Moran discusses his career as a captain in the Las Vegas Fire Department and working part time as a construction worker building houses. Moran describes the changes that have occurred in Las Vegas, Nevada since moving there in 1954 and nuclear weapons tests. Moran also comments on an ongoing casino workers strike at the time of the interview.

Oral history interview with Norma Norman conducted by Dorthy Richardson-Martin on November 30, 2004 for the Public School Principalship Oral History Project. In this interview, Norman reflects upon her experience as an elementary school administrator in California’s Hayward Unified School District. She discusses her experience as a female African American teacher in the 1960s and 1970s, and how those experiences shaped her approach to school administration. She also discusses school district programs and policies, and how such programs impact different populations of students.

Oral history interview with Lois M. Goodall conducted by Judy Harrell on November 12, 2013 for the West Charleston Neighborhoods--an Oral History Project of Ward 1. Goodall discusses the history of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), including the development of the Thomas & Mack Center, the Barrick Scholar Award for students and the Distinguished Scholar Award for faculty. Goodall also discusses her husband, the fourth UNLV president.

In this interview Doris Evans discusses real estate, local hotels, early transportation, and social recreation. She also talks about nuclear testing, crime, environmental changes, and marriage and family life in Boulder City, Nevada and Las Vegas, Nevada.

Oral history interview with Guy Roark conducted by Patricia Elliott on March 10, 1981 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Roark discusses changes in Las Vegas, Nevada, specifically the expansion of downtown Las Vegas. Roark then describes the above ground atomic tests and recalls the magnitude of a particular explosion. Lastly, Roark discusses his visits to northern Nevada and describes the nightlife in Reno, Nevada.
