Steven Ligouri was born February 22, 1962 and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. He’s an artist whose creations can be enjoyed at such places as the Hoover Dam, where his famous High Scaler sculptor sits comfortably. Ligouri began mastering his trade making jewelry with assistance of his father, Bruno Ligouri, who owned a turquoise shop in Boulder City, Nevada.

Josephine Bruns was born December 22, 1914 in Las Vegas, Nevada. After graduating from Las Vegas High School, she worked at the LDS Business College in Salt Lake City, Utah before moving back to Las Vegas. Bruns also held a job as a stewardess before marrying her husband in 1949. She passed away March 04, 1998.

Jon Sparer is an architect in Las Vegas, Nevada who has worked on numerous hotels and casinos. He moved to Las Vegas in July 1981 and worked for the architecture firm Rissman and Rissman before joining Marnell Corrao. After briefly retiring in 1999, Sparer opened his own architecture firm and was contacted by Congregation Ner Tamid (of which he was a casual member) to design their new temple in Green Valley. Jon was married to another successful architect, John Klai. Both were very instrumental in the opening of The Center.
