Oral history interview with Donald Aikin conducted by Patrick Carlton on April 09, 2007 for the Public School Principalship Oral History Project. Oral history interview with Eva G. Simmons conducted by Claytee D. White on February 04, 2013 for the African Americans in Las Vegas: a Collaborative Oral History Project. Simmons discusses moving to Las Vegas, Nevada with her husband, and what she and her husband, George, faced in attaining employment. Simmons speaks about being appointed assistant personnel manager under Superintendent Claude Perkins and the beginning of the scholarship-granting organization, Les Femmes Douze . Simmons then shares types of entertainment during the 1960s, the 1960 plans to march to desegregate the Las Vegas Strip, and participating in sit-ins in Austin, Texas.

Oral history interview with Donald G. Anderson conducted by Jacqueline Buettner on May 01, 2005 for the Public School Principalship Oral History Project. In this interview, Anderson reflects upon his 30-year career as an elementary school teacher and administrator with the Clark County School District from the 1970s to the 2000s. He discusses his upbringing, and how his own pursuit of education led to his becoming a teacher and administrator. He describes his philosophy of education, and discusses how it evolved with different experiences.

Oral history interview with Susan Fine conducted by Cecillia Boland on February 18, 1976 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Fine discusses her family background and moving to Boulder City, Nevada, and then later moving to Las Vegas, Nevada. She also discusses the educational system, church involvement, mercury test site, Howard Hughes’ impact to Las Vegas, Nevada, and Boulder (Hoover) Dam.

Oral history interview with Byron Shutt conducted by Jack Andrews on March 09, 1976 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Shutt discusses the history of Henderson, Nevada after moving there from Missouri in 1949. Shutt describes hitchhiking his way to Las Vegas, Nevada from Missouri, meeting Jim Thorpe in Thorpe's Henderson supper club, and the legalization of gambling in Henderson. Shutt also discusses mining operations in Henderson, chemical plants in Henderson such as the Pacific Engineering and Production Company of Nevada plant, housing, and the Henderson school system.

Oral history interview with Fred Keeton conducted by Claytee D. White and Stefani Evans on October 20, 2016 for the Building Las Vegas Oral History Project. In this interview, Keeton discusses his early life in Mississippi. He talks about the complexity of corporate diversity and the importance of inclusion for business ecosystems. Lastly, Keeton describes how Caesars Palace has developed their business performance, the idea of Complexity Science, and complex adaptive systems.

Oral history interview with Florence Smith conducted by her grandson, Sam Smith, on March 19, 1978 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Smith discusses the police department for Las Vegas, Nevada and crime in the city. She describes employment levels, the ease and difficulty of finding work, and where someone can find jobs. Smith talks about raising her children and federal government ownership of land in Nevada.
