Oral history interview with Nathan L. Stout conducted by Greg Rowland on February 27, 1980 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Stout discusses his involvement in church activities, recreational activities in Las Vegas, Nevada, and explains the Las Vegas economy during World War II. He then talks about the construction of the Red Rooster and Flamingo Hotel. Stout goes on to describe underground atomic testing and the development of casinos on the Las Vegas Strip.

Oral history interview with George Cichoski conducted by Tracey Bradley on March 15, 1981 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Cichoski discusses, the roles and functions of the Cumorah Credit Union, the development of the credit union, the effects of the transition from federal to state charters and those advantages, and the overall function of a credit union.

Oral history interview with Dr. Frank Roqueni conducted by Alia Rothstein on June 20, 2006 for the Public School Principalship Oral History Project. In this interview, Dr. Roqueni reflects upon his experience as a principal in Nevada’s Clark County School District (CCSD). He describes the process by which he became a principal, his regular responsibilities, and challenges that he faced. He discusses the high expectations that principals face, and suggests that individuals not enter the principalship because of those expectations. He also provides his opinion on issues such as standardized testing and school safety.

Oral history interview with Clarence Lawrence conducted by Rhonda Davis on April 11, 2006 for the Public School Principalship Oral History Project. In this interview, Lawrence reflects upon his career as a teacher and administrator in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He discusses his approach to school administration, and his working relationship with teachers and other administrators. He describes his regular responsibilities and challenges as principal, and discusses how different experiences shaped his approach to administration. He also offers suggestions for individuals interested in pursuing school administration, and describes what he believes makes an effective school administrator.

Oral history interview with David Pearl conducted by Ricardo A. Martinez on March 04, 1976 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Pearl discusses his personal experiences in Las Vegas, Nevada and what attracted him to the city. Pearl also shares stories on the Rebel Club, a fundraising effort at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

Oral history interview with David L. Washington conducted by Claytee D. White on March 18, 2009 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. In this interview, Washington discusses his personal history, education, experiences in the military, and becoming a firefighter in Las Vegas, Nevada. Washington talks about his employment at the Las Vegas Fire & Rescue department, explains the procedures for certain fire emergencies, and what it was like when women joined the department in the 1960s. Finally, he recalls becoming the City of Las Vegas Fire Chief.

Oral history interview with Mert Wilber conducted by Gabriel Filippone on March 05, 1977 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Wilber discusses his arrival to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1942 to work for the Basic Magnesium Plant in Henderson, Nevada. Wilber describes how and where the magnesium was mined. Wilber lastly discusses the low crime rate at the time, and the sudden growth in population starting in the 1950s.
