Oral history interview with Otis R. Harris Jr. and Tisha Harris conducted by Claytee White on September 15, 2010 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. In their interview Otis and Tisha talk about growing up in Las Vegas, Nevada during a time of racial change. Otis discusses working for the convention and visitors authority, working on economic development for West Las Vegas, and serving as an Assemblyman. Sylvia "Tisha" Harris discusses working as a teacher in Las Vegas for 29 years. Tisha and Otis also discuss how they have remained active in the community and operate Unibex Global Corporation.

Oral history interview with Barbara Barnett conducted by Charles Chesnutt on March 08, 1981 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Barnett discusses her experiences as a nurse in different units within several of the early hospitals in Las Vegas, Nevada with a specific focus on how patients were cared for and how the profession has evolved. Barnett also briefly talks about her time at the Hacienda Hotel and Casino and what it was like working in a casino. Barnett additionally discusses how the city has grown, specifically on social changes, climate change regarding the increase in humidity, and the casino additions to the Las Vegas Strip and Downtown areas.

Oral history interview with Thomas Rodriguez conducted by Maribel Estrada Calderón on September 10, 2018 for the Latinx Voices of Southern Nevada Oral History Project. Rodriguez discusses how his grandparents migrated from Mexico to Topeka, Kansas. Rodriguez later discusses moving to Las Vegas, Nevada to work for the Las Vegas Clark County Consortium. He mentions the Latino Youth Leadership Program and his college experience. He goes on to discuss his involvement in the Chicano Movement and Hispanics in Politics and describes the lawsuit he filed against the Clark County School District for employment discrimination. Rodriguez then talks about the Rafael Rivera Community Center and describes the growth of Las Vegas.

Oral history interview with Rene de Haven conducted by Nancy Hardy on August 2, 2003 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. Rene de Haven discusses his career as a dancer in shows in Las Vegas, Nevada and in Los Angeles, California as well as acting in movies and being a choreographer.

Oral history interview with Rae Von Dornum conducted by Vicki Evans on October 01, 1973 and October 04, 1973 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Dornum speaks about living in Las Vegas, Nevada in 1921. She also discusses gambling, recreational activities, and details above ground atomic testing. Dornum lastly talks about changes in Southern Nevada.

Oral history interview with Heidi Sarno Straus conducted by David Schwartz on October 03, 2008 for the Remembering Jay Sarno Oral History Interview. In this interview, Straus discusses her upbringing in Las Vegas, Nevada and her experience as the daughter of Jay Sarno. She remembers living at the Circus Circus Hotel and Casino, Tanya the Elephant performances, and the Flying Cavarettas trapeze acts. Straus describes her father’s relationship with Steve Wynn and Oscar Goodman, and his vision for the future of Las Vegas hotel and casinos.

Oral history interview with Rex A. Bell Jr. conducted by Craig S. Klatt on March 01, 1977 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Bell discusses his movie star parents, growing up on his family ranch, and his education, from the 5th Street Grammar School to attending Notre Dame University. Bell also discusses his time living in Oregon and Southern Nevada, including his time working in a western clothing store in Las Vegas, Nevada. Bell also discusses social changes, as well as changes in policing styles over time.
