Oral history interview with Joe Burton conducted by Bob Barrera on March 11, 1980 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Oral history interview with Alexander Zapata conducted by Nathalie Martinez on February 15, 2020 for the Latinx Voices of Southern Nevada Oral History Project. In this interview, Zapata discusses growing up in Caracas, Venezuela. He describes Venezuelan traditions he participated in, becoming a news reporter, and earning a journalism degree in Venezuela. Zapata talks about his move to Las Vegas, Nevada in 2015, his early impressions of the city, and obtaining positions at Telemundo, Univision, and El Mundo newspaper. Later, Zapata discusses United States politics, the Las Vegas Latinx community, and the political situation in Venezuela.

Oral history interview with Marion Earl conducted by Robert Pearce on March 13, 1976 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Earl discusses relocating to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1923, serving as a member of the board of directors for the Chamber of Commerce, and then being elected president of the chamber in 1941. He also discusses being elected justice of the peace in 1934, and serving for two terms.

Oral history interview with Zach Mossman conducted by David Schwartz on January 05, 2017 for the Slot Operations Oral History Project. Mossman discusses being an executive through several Las Vegas, Nevada Strip properties such as the Aria Hotel and Casino, and the Treasure Island Hotel and Casino. Mossman then explains what drew him to slot operations, what guests want when playing slots, and the importance of time on device.

Oral history interview with Maurice Flores conducted by Andre Yates on April 1, 2002 for the Public School Principalship Oral History Project. In this interview, Flores reflects upon his 29-year career as a teacher and administrator with Nevada’s Clark County School District (CCSD) from the 1970s to the 2000s. He discusses his experience working in special education and magnet programs, his approach to education, and the process by which he became a principal. He also offers suggestions for effective school administration.

Oral history interview with Ellen Rosenbloom conducted by David G. Schwartz on July 09, 2007 for the Remembering Jay Sarno Oral History Project. In this interview, Rosenbloom discusses the life of her father, Sam Sarno, and his brother Jay Sarno. Swallow also discusses his time in the U.S. Army before eventually moving to Las Vegas, Nevada to start his career as a teacher. He goes on to talk about the school system in Las Vegas, how Boulder City has changed, the effects of the Mormon church on education, and race relations.
