Oral history interview with Joy Snyder conducted by Lisa Gioia-Acres on December 17, 2008 for the Heart to Heart Oral History Project. Snyder comments on many aspects of her career, including the informal approach to health care, the effects of desert climate on mothers and newborns, and the changes she has seen at Sunrise Hospital. Oral history interview with Carole Vilardo conducted by Derek Armstrong and Claytee D. White on August 11, 2015 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. In this interview, Vilardo discusses the implementation of a sales tax to further fund education in Nevada. She then describes her first legislative session in 1973 and describes Nevada property taxes. Later, Vilardo explains the significance of taxes and how changes in tax rates are made. Lastly, Vilardo recalls lobbying for certain bills and explains the tax structure in Nevada at the time.

Oral history interview with Laura Gunning conducted by Mike Martinez on March 5, 1981 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Gunning discusses her life in Las Vegas, Nevada. Gunning first talks about her family background, her church membership, education, and the minimum wage. She also talks about the Las Vegas Strip, the first businesses and markets in Las Vegas, change in climate, and family trips.

Oral history interview with Valerie Johnson conducted by an unknown collector on an unknown date in the 1970s for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview Valerie Johnson discusses her career as a trumpet player in the United States Air Force Women's band. Johnson talks about her experiences as a musician, her travels in the military, and the discrimination she and her fellow musicians faced from male military musicians.

Oral history interview with Charis Robbins conducted by Steven J. Syzdek on March 17, 1978 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Robbins describes her early life living in various towns in California during the early 1900s, namely Silver Peak, California, before moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1943.

Oral history interview with Dr. Roberta Holton conducted by Wendy Park on November 20, 2006 for the Public School Principalship Oral History Project. In this interview, Holton reflects upon her 28-year career as a teacher and administrator with the Clark County School District. She discusses challenges that she faced in obtaining a teaching position, and some of her biggest challenges that she faced after being hired as a teacher and eventually principal. She also describes challenges that she faced in opening schools within the school district, and offers suggestions on how to be an effective principal and school administrator.
