Oral history interview with Don Laughlin conducted by A. D. Hopkins on June 13, 1999 for the Las Vegas Review-Journal First 100 Oral History Project. In this interview, Laughlin discusses his early life in Minnesota, his start in gambling, and moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1952. Oral history interview with Samuel Smith conducted by Claytee White on June 17, 2011 and June 22, 2011 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. Smith discusses moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1978 and working as a fire inspector until he retired in 2003. He also discusses organizing free reading and math classes to help people prepare for the firefighter exam.

Michael shares his expertise in environmentalism and the history of land protection in the state. He discusses areas of the state he feels should be left untouched by humans, his thoughts on protecting lands as National Recreation Areas (NRAs) including the Spring Mountains, and wilderness acts that have been passed and changed throughout the 1900s.

Oral history interview with Carolyn Goodman conducted by David Schwartz on January 21, 2009 for the Remembering Jay Sarno Oral History Project. In this interview, Goodman talks about her friendships with Nate Jacobson, Jerry Zarowitz, and Elliot Price.
