Womack began his EMS training as a fireman trainee in Hawthorne, Nevada in 1981. He later joined the Mineral County Fire Department.

Elliott arrived in Tonopah in 1980 when he was assigned to a nearby Air Force site. He joined the ambulance service and received EMT training from the Air Force

Giller was raised in Reno, Nevada, where his family owned AIDS Ambulance. He worked as a dispatcher before earning his EMT certifications in the 1980s.

Jackson joined the Fernley Volunteer Fire Department in 1971. He later became an EMT and received experience by working at both St. Mary's and Washoe Med hospitals.

Lafoom moved to Pahrump, Nevada in 1964 and became a member of the Professional Rescue Instructors of Nevada. He was the director of the Amargosa Valley ambulance service from 1972 to 1983.

Larsen began working for Ernie Moore at Mercy Ambulance in Las Vegas, Nevada as a dispatcher in 1969. He joined the Las Vegas Police Department in 1971.

Miller owns and operates the Flying ICU, an air ambulance service, which she started in 2002. She began working in the ICU at Valley Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada in 1999.
