Oral history interview with Lillian and Jonathan Sarno conducted by David G. Schwartz on February 08, 2007 for the Remembering Jay Sarno Oral History Project. In this interview, Lillian discusses her personal history and experiences with her brother-in-law Jay Sarno. Jonathan talks about growing up with Jay and shares anecdotes of their childhood. Later, Jonathan and Lillian discuss the businesses that Jay was involved in, the opening of his various hotels and casinos around the United States, and the opening of Caesars Palace Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. Lastly, the two describe how the hotels Jay founded in Las Vegas changed with new ownership.

Oral history interviews with Gue Gim Wah conducted by Elizabeth N. Patrick on September 23, 1981 and September 24, 1981 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Wah discusses her life as a Chinese immigrant, her husband's life, and running the dining operations at the Prince Mine near Pioche, Nevada. Wah describes arriving in the United States as a child and the difficult immigration process she faced. She discusses her marriage to her husband, Tom Wah, and his life working for the railroads and as a miner before running a boarding house and restaurant for those working in the Prince Mine. Wah later talks about her experiences running the boarding house after the death of her husband in the early 1930s. Throughout the interview, Wah describes different aspects of Chinese culture and what life was like living in a Nevada mining town during the early twentieth century.

Oral history interview with Earl A. Evans conducted by Lance Malone on March 15, 1981 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview Earl Evans discusses education, sports, employment, weather, and railroads in Las Vegas, Nevada. He also discusses transportation, recreation, community involvement, raising a family in Las Vegas, the development of Fremont and the Las Vegas Strip, and religious activities.

Oral history interview with Dr. James LaBuda conducted by Rhonda Calvo on November 08, 2004 for the Public School Principalship Oral History Project. In this interview, LaBuda reflects upon his more than 20-year career as an elementary and junior high school teacher and administrator with the Clark County School District (CCSD) from the 1980s to the 2000s. He describes the process by which he became a teacher, and eventually a principal, as well as some of the challenges that he faced at different schools. He discusses challenges surrounding cultural diversity, standardized testing, and the 1988 PEPCON explosion. He reflects upon his training that he believes was the most beneficial for his principalship, discusses his approach to educational leadership, and describes expectations that successful principals would commonly face.

Oral history interview with Ramont L. Williams Sr. conducted by Claytee D. White on September 30, 2020 for African Americans in Las Vegas: a Collaborative Oral History Project.

Ramont Williams tells of his experience as a gang member, first as a "GQ" and later as a "Donna Street Crip." In 1980, Williams received a prison sentence of 61 years. He discusses his time in jail and his views on gang violence as well as the needs of community members who are affected by it. Subjects discussed include: Crips; Donna Street; Bullying; Richard Steele Boxing Club; and Hope 2000 Nonprofit Organization

Oral history interview with Sonia Rivelli Jiavis conducted by Nathalie Martinez and Barbara Tabach on March 6, 2019 for the Latinx Voices of Southern Nevada Oral History Project. In this interview, Rivelli discusses her life including the evolution of her cultural background and her role in business. She describes how her parents moved to Brazil from Italy and how she has come to value her cultural roots in Brazil, Italy, and the United States. She mentions that travel was a major part of her life and that she has been to North America, South America, and Europe. One of Rivelli’s accomplishments in her career was helping the development of the Brazilian community in Las Vegas, Nevada. She also states that she created the Aqua Diva Global water purification company in hopes of providing more safe and clean water to all people.
