Buchanan worked in a variety of career fields, starting as a construction worker and ending as a mental health technician.

S. Charles Snavely was born September 18, 1936 to Dorothy Beard and Stewart Snavely. He arrived in Nevada in 1965, courtesy of the United States Air Force, with his wife, Ann, and two children. The family lived at Nellis Air Force Base while Snavely completed his Barry Plan commitment to the military. Snavely and his wife raised their children in their Scotch 80s house.

Daniel Connell was born in November 1937 in Ocean Gate, New Jersey. He moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1954. He went to the military for two years, upon returning, he married his wife Linda and in 1973 settled in the Westleigh neighborhood of Ward 1. He eventually was hired by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department to follow his father's footsteps in law enforcement.

Edmund L. Fleming was born October 18, 1915 in Virginia, Minnesota. His parents were born in Ireland. Fleming came to Nevada in the 1930s and worked on a ranch in Pahrump, Nevada. He also worked as a miner, teacher, ranger, and farmer. He lived in Goodsprings, Nevada and Nelson, Nevada. Fleming eventually settled in Las Vegas, Nevada and continued to work in education. He was married in 1941.

Marian Beltran Decaro was born September 7, 1914 in Flagstaff, Arizona. She moved to Las Vegas, Nevada with her husband and their child in September of 1939. When they arrived, Decaro opened a small Mexican restaurant, Mexican Kitchen and moved locations to the Sal Sagev Hotel in 1942, where it lasted until 1959. She passed away October 25, 2006.
