Oral history interview with Patty and Harry Todd conducted by Claytee D. White on May 28, 2024 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. In this interview, Patty Todd describes her childhood on the Westside of Las Vegas, and remembers a friendly community. She attended the Westside School and graduated from Rancho High School. Patty met her husband, Harry, at a Military Appreciation Ball on October 15, 1966. Harry Todd grew up in Pennsylvania and moved to Las Vegas, Nevada when he joined the Air Force. The two share memories of living on the Westside and growing up with the city in the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s. Patty shares about her family's long history in Las Vegas, and at one point an earlier generation homesteaded property at the corner of Las Vegas Boulevard and Flamingo where the Bellagio stands today. Oral history interview with Dr. James B. McMillan conducted by Perry Kaufman on April 14, 1972 for the UNLV University Libraries Oral History Project. In the interview, McMillan discusses his childhood in Aberdeen, Mississippi and his parents' experience with racial discrimination. He then talks about his own experiences with racial discrimination while living in Las Vegas, Nevada. McMillan recalls his involvement with the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), and the tension between community leaders and local politicians including Pat McCarran and John Russell. McMillan discusses integration and white power structures and how they affect the Black community in Las Vegas. Lastly, he discusses his relationship with other Black activists and figures in the community, including Dr. Charles West, Bob Bailey, Lubertha Johnson, and Mabel Hoggard.

Oral history interview with Carolyn G. and Oscar B. Goodman conducted by Claytee D. White on October 18, 2014 for the Southern Nevada Jewish Heritage Project. In this interview, Carolyn G. and Oscar B. Goodman discuss their early childhoods and education. They tell the story of their marriage, family life, and careers. The Goodmans go into further detail on the growth of Las Vegas, Nevada as a community as well as a tourist destination.

Oral history interview with Rocio Rodríguez-Martinez conducted by Elsa Lopez and Monserrath Hernández on June 21, 2019 for the Latinx Voices of Southern Nevada Oral History Project.

Rocio shares her personal history growing up in Bogotá, Colombia and how she immigrated to the United States. She talks about motherhood, her Latina identity, and her experiences raising her daughter in Los Angeles and Las Vegas with her husband. Rocio also discusses her employment history and how she was able to achieve her professional goals of becoming a Spanish and English teacher for the Clark County School District (CCSD)'s Family and Community Engagement Services (FACES) program. Her interview is conducted in Spanish.

Oral history interview with Virginia Beckley Richardson conducted by Claytee D. White and Carole C. Terry on November 05, 2009 on behalf of the Junior League of Las Vegas. Richardson's father was William Ulrich Beckley, owner of Beckley's Men's Furnishing. She discusses her family and the early activities of the Service League, the forerunner of the Junior League of Las Vegas, Nevada.

Oral history interview with Richard Bryan conducted by Claytee White on February 19, 2009 for the Voices of the Historic John S. Park Neighborhood. In this interview, Senator Bryan recounts details about the John S. Park neighborhood development. He mentions how neighborhood commerce included a grocery store and a Sills Drive-in. On the Las Vegas Strip, he remembers the Club Bingo (eventually called Sahara) opening as well as the long list of other hotel/casinos that are part of Las Vegas, Nevada history.

Oral history interview with Su Kim Chung conducted by Claytee White on March 11, 2021 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project.

Su Kim Chung is the Public Services Department Head of University of Nevada, Las Vegas Lied Library's Special Collections and Archives. This interview was conducted in part for the 20th year celebration of Lied Library. Su Kim first talks about the construction of Lied Library and what makes it special compared to the previous library building on campus. She then discusses her personal history and education that led her to UNLV, where she has now worked for 22 years. Her work involves manuscript curation, panel discussions with Las Vegas entertainers, and oral history collection among other activities. She has also written a book, Las Vegas Then and Now, that talks of the city's rich entertainment history.
