Oral history interview with Dee Ellen Grubbs conducted by Susan K. Bakos on October 17, 1985 for the UNLV University Libraries Oral History Collection. In this interview, Grubbs discusses her early life in California and early interest in nursing. She talks about to Las Vegas, Nevada, teaching courses at the Clark County Community College, and her employment at the Southern Nevada Memorial Hospital (SNMH). Grubbs describes the decentralized management style at SNMH, the float policy, and nurse shortages in the early 1960s. Lastly, Grubbs talks about the future of the nursing field and changes in public health care.

Oral history interview with Domingo Cambeiro conducted by Stefani Evans and Claytee D. White on October 18, 2016 for the Building Las Vegas Oral History Project. In this interview, Cambeiro discusses his upbringing in Havana, Cuba. He talks about his initial interests in architecture, starting his own architecture drawing service, and attending the University of Havana. Cambeiro recalls submitting a request to leave Cuba, emigrating to the United States, and arriving in Las Vegas, Nevada in 1962. Cambeiro talks about working with Las Vegas architect Julius Gabriel, obtaining his architecture license, and starting an architectural firm. Lastly, Cambeiro discusses being selected to create architectural drawings for the Thomas & Mack Center.

Oral history interview with Elmer Hilsinger conducted by Irene Rostine on October 02, 1991 for the Women's Research Institute of Nevada (WRIN). In his interview, Hilsinger discusses working conditions at Basic Magnesium Incorporated plant in Henderson, Nevada during World War II. Hilsinger describes the contributions of women employees, safety rules at the plant, and labor unions. He also discusses daily life in the township of Henderson at the time.

Oral history interview with Jerry LeFors conducted by an unknown interviewer between approximately 2000-2008 for the UNLV University Libraries Oral History Collection. In this interview, LeFors talks at length about his experiences as an Army Air Corps pilot during World War II. He describes his education, upbringing, music education, and early interest in aviation. He then discusses his military flight training and assignment as a co-pilot on a B-17 bomber crew headed for Europe. He also talks about his subsequent civilian career as a contractor in California and his efforts to break into the music business in the 1950s and 1960s, as well as his continued interest in recording music since his retirement to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1999.

Pierre Bezard shares stories of his time as a stage director of Vive Les Girls! and Casino de Paris at the Dunes Hotel. He discusses working with producer Frederic Apcar and his time directing the Lido de Paris cabaret show and Ballet de Roland Petit in France.

Martin compares the requirements to work for the phone company in New York state with the lesser requirements of Nevada. Martin goes on to discuss her training, salary, and her overall experiences at the telephone company.

Elizabeth Cleary interviews Edith Allan (born 1889 in Iowa), a longtime resident of Las Vegas, Nevada, on her experiences living and working in this city. Allan discusses living on a dairy farm, which was her family's source of income, as well as her experiences working for Western Union and the Sal Sagev. Allan also mentions the building of Hoover Dam, Block 16, and the Stewart Ranch. Another male is present during the interview as well.
