Oral history interview with Edward C. Perkins conducted by Judith Plaster on November 03, 1978 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Perkins discusses his personal history after moving to Boulder City, Nevada in 1942 following his employment by the United States Bureau of Mines. Perkins discusses the Basic Magnesium Plant in Henderson, Nevada and magnesium's uses during World War II, gold mines in California and Nevada, and other mining operations throughout the state of Nevada. Perkins also discusses his career with the United States Bureau of Mines and life in Boulder City.

Oral history interview with Alice Waite conducted by Claytee D. White on July 14, 2015 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. In this interview, Waite primarily discusses her time in The Rhythmettes, a female student dance group based out of Las Vegas High School in Las Vegas, Nevada during the 1950s. Waite describes the group's choreographer and coach, Evelyn Stuckey, her fellow Rhythmettes, and the performances they gave at Las Vegas High School and around the state. Waite also talks about her family history, what she likes about Las Vegas' downtown, and her career as a teacher.

Oral history interview with Cathie Millson conducted by Anna Huddleston on June 10, 2014 for the West Charleston Neighborhoods: An Oral History Project of Ward 1. In this interview Cathie Millson discusses moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1984 with her husband and one-year-old daughter. She then discusses having two more children, moving into the Rancho Bel Air neighborhood, and about raising her children in Rancho Bel Air. She details the growth of Las Vegas from a small town to a large city and how revitalization of downtown has brought young people back to Rancho Bel Air to raise their families.

Oral history interview with John Wilhelm conducted by Claytee D. White on August 12 and 27, 2014 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. In this interview John Wilhelm discusses how he became a community organizer after college, the many social problems faced in the hospitality industry, and the issues faced in the unions. He also discusses negotiations he made with powerful Las Vegas, Nevada casino owners, contributions by union leaders, and his work after he stepped down from being president of UNITE HERE (Union of Needletrades, Industrial, and Textile Employees and Hotel Employees and Restaurant Employees International Union).

Oral history interview with Dayvid Figler conducted by Claytee White on July 28, 2010 for the Voices of the Historic John S. Park Neighborhood Oral History Project. In this interview, Figler discusses moving with his family to Las Vegas, Nevada as a toddler and growing up in an apartment near the Las Vegas Convention Center. After graduating law school in Arizona, Figler returned to Las Vegas and, in 2000, purchased a home in the John S. Park neighborhood. Figler talks about the ownership history of the house, neighbors including casino owner Bob Stupak and Nevada senator Bob Coffin, and the growth and development of the John S. Park Historic District.

Oral history interview with Eva G. Simmons conducted by Khary D. Black on May 04, 2004 for the Public School Principalship Oral History Project. In this interview, Simmons reflects upon her 27 years as an administrator with Nevada’s Clark County School District (CCSD). She describes the process by which she became a teacher and eventually an administrator, and discusses the significance of the Teacher Advisory Committee in the development of her philosophy of school administration. She discusses student ethics, corporal punishment, cultural diversity, and bilingual programs within the school district, in addition to challenges that she faced from public entities and parents.

In this interview, Jackson discusses his career as a dancer, choreographer, costume designer, and producer of shows in Las Vegas, Nevada and around the world.
