Oral history interview with Kenneth W. Fong conducted by Lois Goodall on February 22, 2014 for the West Charleston Neighborhoods--an Oral History Project of Ward 1. Fong discusses growing up in Las Vegas, Nevada and being the son of two successful and philanthropic community members, Wing and Lilly Fong. Fong also discusses his father starting a grocery store and later in 1955, Fong’s Garden. He then discusses real estate development, Nevada State Bank development, as well as contributing to the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and the Chinatown evolution.

Canarelli discusses growing up in an Oregon logging town living in a tent, and how that fueled his passion of providing homes for underdeveloped areas. He relates stories of Las Vegas, Nevada's early home development and how the real estate industry has changed throughout the decades.

Wanderer discusses his mom, Emilie Wanderer, the first female attorney in Las Vegas, Nevada. He also talks about his career in the race car industry, becoming an attorney, and partnering with his mother in their own law practice, Wanderer & Wanderer.

Oral history interview with George Levine conducted by Barbara Tabach on April 16, 2015 for the Southern Nevada Jewish Heritage Project. Levine recalls arriving in Las Vegas, Nevada in 1963 from New York and working at Sands Hotel and Casino for 36 years, 10 years as maitre'd of the famous Copa Room. He also talks about his daughter, former United States Congresswoman Shelley Berkley.

Oral history interview with Freddie Glusman conducted by Barbara Tabach on October 29, 2015 for the Southern Nevada Jewish Heritage Project. Glusman discusses arriving in Las Vegas, Nevada as a young man in 1957 and owning clothing retail stores in casino/hotels. He also talks about the restaurant he owned, Piero's restaurant on Convention Center Drive; also the setting for scenes in the movie “Casino” (1995).

Oral history interview with Marian Wojciechowski conducted by Claytee D. White on June 16, 2009 for The Boyer Las Vegas Early History Project. Wojciechowski discusses being born in Poland at the beginning of World War I, participating in the Polish underground resistance movement at the beginning of World War II, and being sent to Auschwitz. He also talks about a woman who rescued 2,500 Jewish children during World War II.
