Oral history interview with Raquel Ward conducted by Claytee D. White on March 25, 2010 for the UNLV University Libraries Oral History Collection. In this interview, Ward discusses her upbringing and family background in Tierra Blanca, Veracruz, Mexico. She remembers completing nursing school in Mexico, arriving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1958, and attending the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Ward talks about moving to Boulder City, Nevada, raising her children in Las Vegas, and the increase of organized crime during the 1960s. Lastly, Ward discusses the fast growth of the Hispanic community in Las Vegas during the 1970s and Hispanic representation in political positions.

Oral history interview with Christina Gruber conducted by Barbara Tabach on March 2, 2019 for the Remembering 1 October Oral History Project. In this interview, Gruber shares her experience living in Las Vegas, Nevada since 1997 and as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), mother of two, and physical fitness enthusiast. She recalls being shot during the Route 91 Harvest Festival and being rescued by strangers. She recalls the chaos of the evening, but also how strangers worked together to comfort each other amidst the terror. She discusses dedicated her athletic races to those who were murdered that evening, and how it has helped her recovery. Digital audio and transcript available.

In the interview, Rankin discusses her childhood, her move to Las Vegas, Nevada, and her career as a librarian. Rankin talks about how she began her library career on the Gila River Reservation in Arizona before accepting a position as an audio and visual materials cataloger at University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) in the 1970s. Rankin later describes her work with the American Library Association, getting tenure at UNLV, and her role as a map cataloger in UNLV Special Collections and Archives.

Oral history interview with Julian Eusebio conducted by Cecilia Winchell, Jerwin Tiu, and Stefani Evans on June 01, 2022 for the Reflections: the Las Vegas Asian American and Pacific Islander Oral History Project. In this interview, Eusebio discusses his childhood in the Philippines countryside, helping his parents farm and harvest rice. After moving to Manila for college, Eusebio studied architecture and illustrated for comics and magazines. After moving to Los Angeles, California, Eusebio started a construction business, doing landscapes and constructing swimming pools for celebrities such as Michael Jackson. In 1992, he opened another branch in Las Vegas, Nevada. After retiring in 2010, Eusebio took up painting again and cites his favorite artists as Norman Rockwell and Rembrandt. In the remainder of the interview, he discusses his drawing process and how he started showing his artwork throughout the Las Vegas Clark County Library District.

Oral history interview with Marilyn Miks conducted by Shannon Dunlap on November 06, 2009 for the Public School Principalship Oral History Project. In this interview, Miks reflects upon her 14 years as an administrator.
