The Florence DeVinney Krolak Photograph Collection (approximately 1930-1979) contains photographic prints of the Casino Monte Carlo in Monaco, the Boulder (Hoover) Dam with local dignitaries, and Harley E. Harmon and Frank DeVinney (Clark County Assessor). The collection also contains one publicity photograph of Neil Diamond and some images have corresponding negatives. Frank DeVinney was an assessor for Clark County, Nevada.

Materials include a maps related to the construction and operation of the ranch, a pair of chaps owned by Rex Bell, Jr., and color slides of the ranch. Also included are photographic prints of Rex Bell and Rex Bell, Jr., and newsclippings related to the film and political career of Rex Bell. The Aplin Family Scrapbooks (1927-1971) consists of four handmade scrapbooks compiled by Hilda Aplin. The scrapbooks contain photographs, correspondence, newspaper clippings, and handwritten captions. The majority of the collection focuses on Hilda and Charles Aplin’s involvement in the Fraternal Order of Eagles and Las Vegas Eagles Auxiliary #1213. Also included is a photograph album that details the family’s activities from 1927 to 1959, including notable locations around Las Vegas, Nevada such as Lake Mead, Hoover Dam, Mt. Charleston, and annual Helldorado parades.

The MGM Mirage Records on Mandalay Resort Group consists of materials from Mandalay Resort Group’s office of public relations and community affairs records, which was closed after Mandalay’s corporate merger with MGM Mirage in 2005. The files, dating from 1968 to 2005, provide documentation of Mandalay Resort Group’s external affairs and internal operations. They contain subject files, photographs, negatives, slides, correspondence, VHS tapes, corporate publications, press releases, press kits, wholesale room agreements, hotel ephemera, employee newsletters, and press clippings. Of particular interest are files and photographs documenting the planning, development, construction, and opening of the Mandalay Resort Group properties.

Description
Letter from Bennett calling attention to Nevada Senate Bill No. 155. Senate Bill 155 gives the Las Vegas Valley Water District power in levying taxes and issuing bonds in ways contrary to its original act. According to Bennett, it would create an unfair tax burden on the Los Angeles & Salt Lake Railroad Company and should be defeated. Senate Bill 155 is referenced below.
