Abstract
The Florence DeVinney Krolak Photograph Collection (approximately 1930-1979) contains photographic prints of the Casino Monte Carlo in Monaco, the Boulder (Hoover) Dam with local dignitaries, and Harley E. Harmon and Frank DeVinney (Clark County Assessor). The collection also contains one publicity photograph of Neil Diamond and some images have corresponding negatives. Frank DeVinney was an assessor for Clark County, Nevada.

The Mildred J. Heyer Photograph Collection consists of four black-and-white photographic prints and negatives from approximately 1905 to 1940. The photographs depict early Las Vegas, Nevada street scenes, an irrigation pump, and Liberty’s Last Stand, a prominent saloon in Nevada during Prohibition.

Description
George was raised in Mattapan, a suburb of Boston, by his mother and father. George had four siblings and was the second youngest. George shares fond memories of growing up and playing softball and tennis in the neighborhood park with his numerous friends. George could listen to a song on the radio and play it on the piano by ear when he was as young as four years old. George had several jobs to earn money growing up, including working in a record store and as a busboy. Eventually George and his brother joined a trio with Steve Harrington and performed in clubs. In 1958, George joined his brother and Paulette Richards in Las Vegas where they had a contract to play at El Rancho Hotel & Casino where they played until it was destroyed by fire. Following the fire, George and his brother parted ways and each did their own thing. In the 1960s, George began playing with the band at Caesars Palace. The Sperling Kronberg Mack Holocaust Resource Center Records (1971-2018) mainly consists of correspondence, event planning documents, financial records, subject files, and newspaper clippings created by or related to the Sperling Kronberg Mack Holocaust Resource Center and the Nevada Governor’s Advisory Council on Education Relating to the Holocaust. Materials document educational conferences, remembrance events, and student field trips; curriculum planning, involvement with the Clark County School District, and educational materials about the Holocaust and other related historical events; and grant and fundraising activities. The collection also includes photographs and proclamations.

Description
Oral history interview with Gabriel Garcia conducted by Monserrath Hernandez and Barbara Tabach on November 13, 2019 for the Latinx Voices of Southern Nevada Oral History Project. In this interview, Garcia discusses his early life in Arizona and moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1984. He remembers attending a sixth grade center, the Pacific Engineering and Production Company of Nevada (PEPCON) explosion, and attending Las Vegas High School. Garcia talks about Mexican culture in Las Vegas, car clubs, and becoming a graphic designer. Lastly, Garcia discusses his involvement with the Association of Latino Professionals for America, and the idea of diversifying the professional workplace.
